Description: This is one of the modules. The Catalog Viewer is designed to be a viewing system that will allow end users to view products in an easy, intuitive, informative, and artistic way (to find, select, customize, and order a product). The new version will improve upon the previous version by allowing for a more configurable interface and offering more features to the end user. The idea behind the new catalog viewer is to correct some of the problems we have found existing. Some of the problems we had with the first version were browser incompatibilities, lack of robustness, and lack of expandability. The new versions handle failure more gracefully and assist in debugging. The main objective is a user on a 300MHz machine with a 56Kbps modem should not have to wait more than 30 seconds for the initial loading and no more than a 5 second delay anywhere else in the program.
