Worldwide Collectible Brand Hot Toys Prominently Presents at Ani-Com

American Theatre to unveil Classic Movie Scene with Hot Exclusive & Upcoming Products Available

(Hong Kong, 28th July, 2011) The 13th Ani-Com and Games Hong Kong (ACGHK) event will be launched from July 29 to August 2 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC). Hot Toys, the world-renowned collectible brand for highly-detailed 1/6th scale collectible figures, has set its foot in the event for 8 consecutive years. This year, Hot Toys has specially decorated the booth as an American theatre in the 10-booth area, exhibiting the newly launched Hollywood movies collectible figures and unveiling a range of artist projects which are firstly exhibited in Hong Kong. This year, Hot Toys is pleased to collaborate with the creative team WUDAI SHIGUOfor designing and art directing the booth with the theme of America theatre, bringing about the classic scenes from world-renowned movies such as Star Wars, Batman (1989), Captain America, Thor, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, Avengers, Superman, The Terminator, Sucker Punch, Green Lantern, etc., bringing fans to an artistic journey, while enjoying shopping of the hittest collectibles in town.

Toy Fairs Exclusive

As usual, the most attractive part for fans are the three Toy Fairs exclusive products. This year, the exclusives will be available for sale starting from 10:00am on the first day of the event. To purchase the exclusive items, customer must obtain both the priority pass from organizer and the exclusives purchase ticket from Hot Toys. The three exclusive items include Iron Man 2: 1/6th scale Mark IV Limited Edition Collectible Figurine (Secret Project), Predator 2: 1/6th scale Shadow Predator Collectible Figure and Batman Begins: 1/6th scale Batman/ Bruce Wayne Collectible Figure. In addition, Hot Toys will provide the pre-order service for the latest products and showcase some collectible figurines which are the firstly exhibited in Hong Kong.

Exhibits Preview
Apart from the exclusive items, Hot Toys has specially selected almost a a hundred of exhibits to be showcased at the booth, some of which are firstly unveiled in Hong Kong following the Hot Toys 10th Anniversary Exhibition in Tokyo during Christmas last year. The exhibits are divided into three sections as follows: 1. Diorama Wars Project:

A series of Diorama Wars Projects made by celebrated artists from Japan, Korea and Hong Kong paying tribute to Hot Toys 10th anniversary last year, such as Mayu designed by Mr. Takuji Yamada, the King of diorama..who created the project with the theme of alien nests, which makes people tremble with fear. Moreover, Blue & Red ~ Next Generation designed by Japan artist Mr Tetsuya Koike, is designed based on the movie Iron Man 2 in the classic scene when Tony Stark is sitting on the donut. 2. Iron Man CollARTible Expo:

Following the Iron Man wave through the tour of the spectacular Iron Man CollARTible Expo in different parts of Asia, the wave is going to be continued in Ani-Com this year. Hot Toys has specially brought nine Iron Man artist projects designed by Japanese artists which will be firstly exhibited in Hong Kong after the Hot Toys 10th Anniversary event in Tokyo, Japan. All the unique artist projects are specially customized based on the Hot Toys Iron Man Collectible Figure with artists creative design. For example, one of the artist projects called NINJA is specially created by Youji Shinkawa, the designer of renowned electronic games Metal Gear Solid, fusing the idea of Iron Man and the biochemistry ninja in the game.

Exciting Event
Besides showcasing the collectible series, Hot Toys also organizes the first-of-its-kind Korean Figure Artists Autograph Sessionin Hong Kong on the second day of the event with leading Korea artists including Chief Painter & Production Director Mr JC. HONG, Chief Sculptor Ms YULLI, celebrated Sculptor KOJUN and GOX (Eom Jea Sung) to meet and greet with the fans. The autograph session is open to the public with details as follows Date Time 30th July, 2011. (Saturday) 5:00 5:45pm

Venue Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) (Autograph Session) On that day, Hot Toys will distribute 80 tickets for autograph session at 2:00pm during the queue section of Hot Toys for fans to get their signature on the designated poster given by Hot Toys during the autograph section.
