SQUASH Rules & Regulation: 1.

Each hall is to send a team of 5 Males and 3 Females, inclusive of 2 male and 1 female reserves. 2. Only a maximum of 2 points handicap is allowed in the line-up. The possible ways of fielding maximum number of graded, IVP and squatters in the line-up are listed below. All players listed in the 2011 SSRA grading list with grades A-F shall be capped. Grades National Players (1 point) A-F (1 point) SUNIG players (1 point) Modifier Squatter (+1 point)

3. A total of 5 games of best of 3 sets of 9 points (British Scoring) each will be played for all matches except for the semi-finals and final. 5 games of best of 5 sets of 9 points will be played in the semi-finals and final to determine the winner. 4. There will be a 2 minutes interval between sets. However, play can continue upon the agreement of both players. 5. Team captains are to submit the line-up 15 minutes before the match. Replacement of players after submission of the line-up is not allowed. The line-up cannot be changed after submission. 6. Team captains to de-conflict on which game to be called on first; where a case of dispute occurs, both teams will have to play the format as follows: a. 1st Male, 1st Female, 2nd Male, 2nd Female, 3rd Male The sequence of line-up must be in accordance with the grading by the Singapore Squash Association. For example, the 1st single must be of the highest grading. If the SSRA grading of the players are the same, the IVP team seeding will be followed. Any hall which violates this rule will be disqualified from the competition. The ranking of players for the sequence of line-up is as follows: (1st) National Player (2nd) Graded/ Graded+SUNIG/ Graded+Squatter (3rd) Non-graded SUNIG/ Squatter (4th) Normal hall players who are not graded and non-SUNIG

7. All sets will be played over 9 points. Only the server is able to score points. The winner of the previous set will serve for the next set. 8. Each hall to provide 2 umpires where they will be required to umpire neutral games as and when they are being called upon. A fine of $10 is imposed on any hall that fails to send any umpire down. 9. The official ball will be Dunlop Double Yellow Dot. 10. All teams are required to bring their own balls for warm-up. Before using the competition balls, each teams strokes with the competition ball for 1 minute unless otherwise decided by the convening hall. 11. The umpires' decision is final. However, if the team is dissatisfied with the umpires calls, the teams manager, captain, or that halls sports secretaries may request the convening hall for a replacement of umpire. This is subject to the approval of the convening hall and the availability of umpires at that point in time. 12. Any changes to the rules and regulations subjected to the situation will be briefed to the team managers before the start of the game. 13. In the event of any dispute not covered in these rules, the convening hall reserves the right to make decisions.
