Comment [SS1]: (out of ? mention relative position: contextualising all your achievements is vital) Comment [SS2]: Use a standard format: e.g. Begin with Name of Activity/Project, Location/Dept, Timeline; then have cover three areas: 1) Objectives (crisp outline of project objective or problem statement of research) 2) Impact/outcomes (real improvements or research insights/recommendations) 3) Activity/effort (like Interviewed heads of 60 selfhelp groups) Comment [SS3]: Remember, the assumption is that the interviewer knows nothing. So, what is Janaagraha? Whats so great about it? What is this Programme you are talking about? What did it achieve? (E.g. Largest NGO in Bangalore with with over five thousand volunteers) Comment [SS4]: Show the impact of the effort and quantify, if possible. (e.g Part of design team for the Citizen Awareness Program held in xx corporate offices including Wipro and Dell in Bangalore) Comment [SS5]: Illustrate the 'So what' and show impact (e.g. Report used by organization to bring media attention to judicial order defaulters) Comment [SS6]: Begin with verbs also use parallel construction, i.e. begin all sentences with verbs in the same tense and gerund form (e.g Arranged for funding of xx pounds, Brought in participation from foreign countries etc.) Comment [SS7]: Should be part of the leading line Negotiated an arrangement for funding of 1000 (Rs.80,000) p.a. by the Modern Law Review, a UK journal associated with the London School of Economics An interviewer could find this interesting and quiz you on: What were the challenges you faced in presenting your case for funding?

Comment [SS8]: How large was the batch? How many companies did you bring in? How many got placed? Show numbers here otherwise this high potential point loses all its punch
