Serbian Sensations Rise to the Occasion

By Andrew Knowlton Staff Writer Basketball fans often like to chant their favorite players name after hes run down the court to sink a big three-pointer -- unless, of course, the name is too hard to pronounce. So when Janko Kajtez or Andrija Zivkovic make that crucial shot late in the game, the hundreds of fans packed into the hot and claustrophobic gym at St. Marys Ryken simply chant: SER-BI-A!!! SER-BIA!!! SER-BI-A!!! Kajtez and Zivkovic, two of Rykens star players, were born and bred in Serbia, a small country in Southeastern Europe, which was once was part of Yugoslavia. In 1998, serious clashes with the Kosovo Liberation Army led to a NATO aerial bombardment that spanned 78 days. They were the worst months of my life, said Zivkovic, who was in fourth grade at the time. It was horrible, added Kajtez. Its something that will always stick in my head. According to Kajtez, the war - which he witnessed on a television in his grandmothers house in Serbia - may have played a role in his major life decision of coming to the United States. Its probably the dream of every kid playing in the NBA, he said. [The war] surely changed the picture of everything. Unlike the rest of Europe, where people play, eat, sleep, breath and bleed soccer, Serbia considers basketball its national sport. After all, it has produced such great NBA stars as Vlade Divac, a tremendous passer who played in more than 1,100 games for the Lakers, Hornets and Kings, and Predrag Stojakovic, a prolific three-point shooter for the Hornets. Zivkovic roots for the University of Arizona, primarily because the Wildcats have a forward, Ivan Radenovic, who hails from the Serbian capital of Belgrade. Kajtez grew up watching Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls, and like millions of American kids, dreamt of someday making it big. He has been honing his basketball skills since the age of 10. Now, he and Zivkovic have an opportunity to take their game to the next level. In the summer of 2006, Rykens head basketball coach, Danny Sancomb, flew to Belgrade. An old friend who had tried out for some basketball teams in Europe, invited Sancomb to work at a two-week camp in the mountains of a town called Zlatibor. I always like to see how other people do things, Sancomb said. I was so impressed with the style of coaching over in Serbia, compared to the style of coaching here in the United States. damentally sound. Its constant repetition, repetition with fundamentals. At the camp, Sancomb met Kajtez and Zivkovic. The first time we met him, last summer at basketball camp in Serbia, I was nervous, Zivkovic admitted laughingly. Every time he watched me, I was nervous. But this was no chance encounter; there was a reason Sancomb was paying such close attention. The two Serbian players had already applied to attend St. Marys Ryken. How - in the distant, landlocked heart of Serbia - did they know about the small American school? It was a simple matter of six degrees of separation. I knew Milos (Micic), another guy from last year, Zivkovic said. I talked with him and he gave me an address and a phone number of a manager in Serbia who worked with coach Sancomb. Micic and Srdjan Boskovic were two Serbian players on the Ryken team last year who, through roundabout connections, helped Kajtez and Zivkovic find a home at Ryken. The rest, as they say, is history. The Serbian Sensations completed the necessary but tedious paperwork. That took time, but before they knew it they were on a 12-hour plane journey to Washington, D.C., by way of Frankfurt, Germany. Its a big thing when you say, Im going to America, Zivkovic said. We knew from movies, from talks and stuff what its like over here, added Kajtez. But we never experienced it. It didnt take them long to form strong impressions of America. Everything is huge! said Zivkovic, extending his arms to show just how huge. Everything is big. Its a big country! Serbia, by comparison, is about the size of South Carolina. As they made their way south to St. Marys County, they found out just how big, and spread out, the country really is. Kajtez came from Novi Sad, the second largest city in Serbia, where he recalls his quick 10-minute walks to and from school. Now he has to hop on a big yellow school bus and ride 25 to 30 minutes to school from Calvert County, where he lives with a host family. Being in southern Maryland, if they want to go to the mall, they have to get in the car and drive there instead of walking there or taking some sort of public transportation, Sancomb said. So thats been a bit of an adjustment for them. Kajtez and Zivkovic have also had to adjust to the demanding schedules of the typical American student-athlete. At Ryken, they often practice two to three hours a day, or else they make long trips for games around the D.C. area. In Serbia, sports are run See Serbians page B-4

Making History in the Pool

Lady Raiders Win Regionals
By Andrew Knowlton Staff Writer The Lady Raiders of Leonardtown continued to make Maryland swimming history as they dominated the 3A/4A South Regional Championship Monday at St. Marys College. This year is the first that Maryland has kept team scores at the Regional Championship, and the Raiders engraved their name in the books, winning all but one event on the girls side. They defeated second place La Plata by 64 points. The boys team was successful as well, finishing in second place behind Thomas Stone and edging out La Plata by four and a half points. Im very happy with the boys, head coach Megan Shelton said. Coming off of SMAC and placing fourth, then coming here and meeting one of the teams that beat us and being able

guard Jennifer Allison kept the Braves in contention with her 11 first half points. When shes on the floor, we go, Larnerd Jr. said. I feel extremely comfortable when the ball is in her hands or when were on defense and shes at the top of our halfcourt press. Your point guard is an extension of your coach, if not your coach on the floor. Shes a gritty little tough player, Great Mills coach Brian Weisner said. She just works her tail off. I dont know how she keeps taking what we throw at her. In the second half, Weisner said his team focused on keeping the ball out of Allisons hands. I had to play tough D on her, added Hornets guard Megan Matheny. That was the only way to keep them out of their comfort zone was to get her out of hers. Although Great Mills zeroed in on Allison in the second half, she finished with a game high 19 points, five rebounds and five steals. We wanted it so bad, Allison said. We always have intensity and we just come out and try and try and try. We were feeling confident at halftime.

The Braves opened the third quarter with a steal and fast break layup by Allison, which was followed by a Breanne Russel layup. With the Hornets leading by just two points, the game became even more heated and the crowd grew louder. We came out with intensity but it came in spurts and the times we lacked intensity, they took advantage of it. Matheny said. It was a very physical game, they were physical, so we had to be physical back. Matheny hit a short jumper to start a new spurt for the Hornets as they surged to a 10-point lead by the end of the third. She finished with 13

points, three rebounds and six steals while teammate Shamara Adams recorded 14 points and four rebounds. Center Jalecia King carried the Hornets along in the fourth quarter, grabbing three rebounds and scoring seven quick points. Its all teamwork. Its all mental, Matheny said. Were a pretty smart team, a pretty strong team, so we knew what we had to do to take control of the game. According to Larnerd Jr., tiredness may have been a cause of his teams offensive lapse in the fourth quarter. We were a little fatigued, he said. This was our third game this week. We lost to Westlake by two in the last 30 seconds on [Feb. 12] here. We beat Hu-

tingtown last night by seven. Then you turn around and you have to play Great Mills and we didnt practice on Tuesday, so I dont think we were in the best shape. As regular season concludes for the Braves (7-14, 5-10 SMAC,) the main goal is finish with as many wins as possible, according to Allison. The Hornets (19-2, 14-1 SMAC), who are currently first in SMAC, have high hopes for the post-season. We definitely think we can win SMAC, Matheny said. We know we have to play every game our hardest. We have high hopes. Regionals, states we want to go all the way.

In the Knowl
while. The West has five teams (Dallas, Phoenix, Utah, San Antonio, and Houston) with higher winning percentages than the best team in the East (Detroit). Cleveland is the second best team in the East and they wouldnt even be top-three in the Southwest division! Washington has the third highest record in the East, but is quickly sinking in the rankings. Forward Antawn Jamison, who leads the Wiz in rebounds, is out for another couple weeks with a sprained knee, and Gilbert Arenas has managed to pull a David Copperfield by making his shot disappear in the last few games. So what can the East do to compete with the Mighty West? Combine forces. The Detroit Pistons and the Washington Wizards need to combine forces to take down the best of the West. Yes, this is a ridiculous proposition, but bear with me for a little

The Detroit Wizards?

The Detroit Pistons practically ARE the Washington Wizards. Lets look at a few of their starters At Center, averaging 12.6 ppg and 8.10 rpg, Rasheed Indeed Wallace. Starting at the guard position, averaging 21.7 ppg Richof these guys at one time or another wore a Washington Wizards/Bullets uniform. Hamilton and Webber both played for D.C. for three years and Wallace played 65 games in the old school Bullets jersey, even earning a spot on the Rookie All-Star team during that time. Whats more, the Pistons In 2004, the underdog Pistons squad of Hamilton, Ben Wallace, Rasheed Wallace, Chauncey Billups and Tayshaun Prince beat the L.A. Lakers in just five games. That same year, the Wizards crumbled to a 25-57 record. Why is it that Washington loves trading away great talent? Well, maybe theyve Etan Thomas and Brendan Haywood, seem more interested in beating each other up in the locker room than winning games. The two have been involved in three scuffles this season over silly personal matters. Thats where Rasheed Wallace comes in. Hes a strong, physical player who isnt afraid to get his nose dirty and who could fill in the holes down low where the Wizards are so weak. At shooting guard, the Detroit Wizards would have Richard Hamilton: a threepoint popping ball of energy who can run any defense into the ground. Webber would share minutes with Antawn Jamison or Caron Butler, and Agent Zero (Gilbert Arenas) would run the show. So there you have it the team that can beat the West - The Detroit Wizards. The team that Washington could have had. The team that Washington can kiss goodbye.

In the Knowl By Andrew Knowlton The NBA All-Star game this past weekend may be a good indication of what will take place when the playoffs and finals roll around. The West blew the East out of the water, 153-132, in one of the most lopsided games in AllStar history. The West set records in field goals made (69) and assists (52,) while soaring sky high for alley-oop dunks. Meanwhile, players from the East watched in awe like twelve-year olds at an AND 1 game. Its crystal clear. The West is flat out better than the East.

learned their lesson. Right now, the Wizards have great players and the program is moving in the right direction. But there just seems to be something missing there, like, say, a BIG MAN!?! The Wizards centers,

Automotive Week
2007 Honda Civic SI
By: Jesse Stump Contributing Writer When I was in college I had a friend who owned an old Honda Civic with nearly 300,000 miles on it. He put that car through one of the worst beatings I have ever seen inflicted on an automobile but it kept on truckin. Over the past 30 years the Honda Civic has built a reputation for being one of the most reliable cars on the road. The Civic has always been safe, affordable and about as practical as you can get when it comes to car buying. However with the 2006 redesign of the Civic SI, Honda mixed things up a bit in an effort to shake one of those words from the cars nameplate practical. Walk Around For 2007, the Civic SI is offered in either 2-door or 4door trim. Both models come standard with 17 alloy wheels but can be paired with 18 Honda Factory Performance wheels for an additional cost. A standard rear-deck spoiler and smooth curves give the car a very sleek look. A ground effects package is also available for both models but is unnecessary in my opinion. This car looks great in its base form and there is very little I would change about it. Interior The Civic SI comes with very few interior options. Black cloth bucket seats with red SI embroidery are universal across all models but are quite comfortable and give the car a sporty look. Rear seat room is adequate in sedan models only. While sitting in the back seat of the coupe I had to slouch to keep my head off of the rear widow. The SIs cockpit fits like a glove. Everything you need is within arms reach and the instrumentation is straight forward and clearly displayed. All new Civics come equipped with a unique two-story cluster setup that places the digital speedometer right beneath the windshield. Even more impressive is the amber shift light that flashes when the car reaches its lofty 8000 RPM limit - and trust me, youll need it. All models come equipped with a 350-watt 7speaker sound system that sounds good but not great. However, the cars exhaust was tuned for the ears and is

2007 Honda Civic SI

quite audible from within the cabin so true sports car enthusiasts will probably prefer the radio off. Test Drive The Civic SI is powered by a 197 hp. i-VTEC 4cylinder engine and is only available with a 6-speed transmission. I took out a four-door model and fell in love with it immediately. That little amber shift light I was telling you about yeah I saw it light up in just about every gear. I mean, I couldnt help it. This car just makes you want to drive it hard. Not to mention the fact that at 6000 RPM the VTEC engages and produces a huge boost in acceleration. The Civics power plant is complimented very well by its handling capabilities. With suspension that is reportedly 400 times stiffer than a Civic EXs, the SI has no problem powering through windy back roads. In fact, it boasts better numbers in the slalom than the Dodge Viper RT-10 and is just a hair slower than the Corvette Z06. I really cant say enough about the Civic SIs performance. It has to be

one of the most entertaining vehicles I have ever driven. Although the sedan outweighs the coupe by around 40 pounds, it has a 2 longer wheelbase and handles slightly better. If you ever plan to utilize the back seat, I recommend going with the sedan. Overall The 2007 Civic SI combines a spirited power plant with sport car-like suspension for one heck of a ride. Long story short practical is out the window but who cares. Specs: 2007 Honda Civic SI

Serbians
Continued from page B- through clubs and do not require athletes to devote time right after school. Fortunately, the Serbian Sensations have a strong supporting cast at Ryken. Their teammates welcomed them with open arms and were eager to learn about Serbia. Kajtez and Zivkovic have taught their teammates some Serbian -- enough to get by at a party. They know a couple of words, Zivkovic laughed. They ask about everything. So which Ryken Knight speaks the most Serbian? John Flowers, Kajtez answered quickly. He knows good stuff for girls, for meeting girls, he laughed. When they are not giving their teammates language lessons, Kajtez and Zivkovic are hard at work, on and off the court. In the classroom, Kajtez boasts a 4.3 grade point average in honors classes, excelling in math and sciences. Theyll come home after a game at 11 oclock, and their host families tell me theyre in their rooms studying, Sancomb said. Theyre very disciplined and they know theyve been given a great opportunity. Hes been a great role model, said Billy Poss, who along with his wife, Diana, and son, B.J. (a freshman forward on Rykens junior varsity team,) plays host to Kajtez. With the colleges and the recruiting and stuff, its definitely opened up B.J.s eyes, showing what hard work does. Kajtez and Zivkovic admitted they were a bit nervous to meet their host families for the first time, but quickly found out how nice and generous they are. Theyre the best people! Kajtez said of his host family, who attends every game he plays in. They accept me as a member of their family. Ive had a great time! Kajtez and Zivkovics hard work has also opened the eyes of several prestigious universities in the U.S. Katez is being recruited by Princeton, Columbia, Cornell and Lehigh, and Zivkovic is getting mail and phone calls from Boston University, American University, and several junior colleges. When its time to don a Knight uniform, Kajtez and Zivkovic are just as dedicated. The Serbian kids, going back to the kids we had last year, are gym rats, said Sancomb. I mean, you literally have to say, its time to go, for them to leave. And now thats kind of rubbed off on the rest of the guys. However, getting acclimated to American-style basketball took some work. In Serbia, basketball is played at a slower, more deliberate pace, and fundamentals are the name of the game. Switching to the fast-speed, high-jumping, physical American style of play took time. Kajtez and Zivkovic had one other difficult change to make: They do get an extra half-step in Europe and they dont call it, Sancomb said. Theyve been doing it for 17 years, and all of a sudden now they call it here. What the rules havent affected is their ability to score. Kajtez and Zivkovic are both lethal threats from outside the three-point arc. Kajtez is averaging 12.5 ppg and 48.2 percent from behind the three-point line. He shoots 50.6 percent from the field and averages 4.2 rpg. Zivkovic is averaging 5.3 ppg, three rebounds and two assists per game. Both have become stronger and faster since the beginning of the season, capitalizing on their mastery of the best of both basketball worlds -- fundamentals and athleticism. In the little free time that Kajtez and Zivkovic have, they like to spend it relaxing, watching movies, listening to music and talking to their friends and family in Serbia. My friends still dont accept [that I moved to the United States], Kajtez said. They still think that Ill come back after this year. Although the boys plan on returning to Serbia after their graduation in the spring, it will not be a permanent move. Both Kajtez and Zivkovic have goals to further their education and their skills on the basketball court here in the United States. In the meantime, they will finish off the basketball season in hopes of winning the Washington Catholic Athletic Conference Championship. So how do the two young Serbians feel when a gymnasium packed with their newfound friends and schoolmates burst into a rousing cheer of SER-BI-A!!! SER-BI-A!!!? I dont pay attention to all the cheering, Kajtez said shyly. I do! Zivkovic interjects. It makes us proud!

Once at the Detention Center, a CDS smoking device was and swimmers dont know what kind of competition they are going to face, their goals are to set personal records. Since this is their first year, I think they just want to see what its like, Davis said. Theyve never had a state championship, so I think theyll just go and swim their best times like they always do and see what happens. Some athletes, on the other hand, are aiming for specific places. But whether its time or place that is the goal, all those advancing are equally excited to be a part of history. Forgery and Theft Jerry Tyrone Everette, 21 of Callaway, Md., was arrested for Forgery and Theft over $500.00. A strong odor of marijuana was emitting from Thomas, who was then transported to the St. Marys County Detention Center where a small baggie of marijuana was found on his person. He was charged with possession of marijuana and driving without a license and was held pending a bond review. Drug Arrest Tuesday, Feb. 13, at 12:06 a.m., TFC Koch observed a Braves coach Robbie Davis was pleased to see such a strong performance from his team after they struggled in the SMAC championship. We werent sure whether we were going to have practice again or not, whether this was it or if we were going to go to states, so we were pretty happy, Davis said. The boys team has had a difficult year, according to Davis, but they have been able to bounce back and put up some impressive times late in the season. We started off with 10 guys, then we had two that left us and one that was ineligible, so its hard to compete numbers-wise, he said. Mathematically, you just cant win a meet without the numbers. The guys have been swimming well in our championship meets. They didnt do well at SMACs because of the numbers, but they did well swimming their best times. A Place in History While teams have competed in Regionals in past years, this was the first that official team records were kept. This is also the first year that Maryland will hold a state championship. According to Shelton, that makes it hard to set team goals. I dont know going into states what to expect, she said. I know Anne Arundel [County] is brand new to swimming this year, so I dont know what they will be bringing, and I know there are some very strong PG county schools and Hartford County schools that weve seen at Regionals the past two years, but that hasnt been scored. Because many coaches

History
Continued from page B- first in the 200 IM and second in 100 butterfly. Senior Shaun Loughran took second in the 500 freestyle and the Raiders claimed second place finishes in the 200 freestyle relay and the 400 freestyle relay. I think everyone swam well, Webb said. As the season progresses, everyone gains more experience. Our coach likes to switch us up in a lot of events, and now that weve swam a few solid meets in the same [events] everyone is trying to figure how their body reacts to those races and stuff. For the Lady Raiders, Jennifer Ray, Davi Clark and Caitlin Branaman all earned individual titles while Justine Cavnor and Brittany Culpepper both were double-event winners. They also won the 200 medley relay, the 200 freestyle relay, and the 400 freestyle relay. Of the five girls that won individual races, four are sophomores and one is a junior. We have a lot to look forward to, Shelton said. Were still very young. We wont lose many seniors this year. We will lose a lot of experience, but this team thats swimming is primarily freshman and sophomores. The rest of the county saw success in the meet as well, qualifying several individuals for the state meet, which will be held this weekend at the University of Maryland. Great Mills and Chopticon placed fourth and fifth on both the boys and girls sides.

Hornets Step Up Jackie Kitner was a top performer for the Lady Hornets, placing second in the 200 IM and third in the 500 freestyle. Rachel Bailer also advanced to the state meet with her fourth place finish in the 100 breaststroke. The Hornets fared well on the boys side despite losing a star swimmer early in the meet. John Kitner, who swam stroke for stroke against Webb in the 200 IM, suffered an injury to his shoulder and placed second. He was unable to compete the rest of the day and will likely have to sit out the state meet. My shoulder was popping out during the [200 medley] relay, said Kitner with a bag of ice wrapped around his shoulder. I thought it would be okay to swim in the medley, but when I switched from the back to the breaststroke, it popped out again. His teammate Andrew Kelly stepped up for Great Mills, taking second in the 100 breaststroke. The Hornets also slipped past Leonardtown to win the 200 freestyle relay by .14 seconds. Chopticon Fights On Chopticon will be sending several swimmers to the state meet this weekend as well. Senior captain Caitlin Phalen placed second in the 200 IM and third in the 100 backstroke. She will be joined by fellow captain Julian Leicht (fourth in the 100 butterfly,) and the girls and boys 400 freestyle relay teams.

Hornets Overcome 15-Point Deficit, Win 76-71

SMAC Champions

The Hornets celebrate in the locker room after their come-from-behind victory. Were a close family out here, point guard Will Smith said. Weve had a lot of things go on through the past year, but we came together and everybody stepped up, players stepped up, coach even stepped up.

By Andrew Knowlton Staff Writer Not many teams in the Southern Maryland Athletic Conference (SMAC) can math the speed and athleticism of the Great Mills boys basketball squad. But in front of a packed house in the Hornets gym Tuesday night, Lackey proved they are one of the few by jumping out to a 15-point second quarter lead in the conference championship. However, the Hornets proved throughout the second half, that it takes more than speed and athleticism to win a game it takes heart, according to Great Mills head coach Frank Peck. In order for us to win, its got to be all about heart, he said. We have to want to win more than anything else, and thats what they did, they did all the little things. Sparked by guard Will Smiths 28 point, five rebound and five steal performance, the Hornets chipped away at the deficit and eventually took the lead in the middle of the fourth quarter. Will hit some big shots, guard Cody Kohn said. He moved the ball around, he took the ball to the basket a lot. He played a good game. With center Trae Jacobs in foul trouble early on in the game, Lackey was able to penetrate the Hornets defense and score most of their points on fast break layups. But Great Mills closed the first half with offensive momentum, much of which was due to strong foul shooting. They shot a perfect 11-of-11 from the charity stripe in the first two quarters. It was huge, Peck said. It was one of those things that we talked about all the time; how critical free throws are, and tonight we saw how critical they are. For them to focus when theyre down and to shoot better from the free throw line than they probably have all year is a credit to them, their maturity, and their desire to win. Midway through the second quarter, Kohn connected on a much-needed three-pointer for the Hornets. Smith followed that with two free-throws and Darien Thornton added a bucket on an assist from Kohn. Then, B.J. Brown found Smith open for a

layup, which brought the Hornets back in the game. After a missed foul shot by Lackey, Kohn pulled down a defensive board and threw a deep bomb to Smith, who was wide open for a layup. The Hornets repeated that play as the buzzer sounded to end the first half. Great Mills managed to cut the lead to 36-28 in the last two minutes of the second period. Although the Hornets picked up offensively in the end of the first half, Lackey still managed to score easily on fast break opportunities. With Jacobs sitting out most of the first half, Great Mills had to make some adjustments. [Lackey] did a tremendous job of attacking the basket, Peck said. We picked up some fouls, so we had to pick and chose when we could put [Jacobs] in the game. We had to make sure that we got him in there on the offensive end and protect him defensively. We were able to do that and put ourselves in a position to win. Peck also chose not to call timeouts even when the Chargers built up their big lead. I fell like we have a pretty veteran team and unless Im going to make a major change in what were doing or do something thats real drastic, I let them play through it, he said. This team has a better chance of overcoming a deficit if they keep in the rhythm of a game. I know were down by as many as 15, but it was early. I knew that we have the ability to play defense well enough and execute our offense to get back in the game. Peck looked for his veteran players to take control of the game and lead the Hornets to victory. Along with Smiths 28 points, Kohn finished with 17, guard Sid Rdley scored 13, Brown had six points and eight rebounds, and Jacobs scored 10 points and pulled down 10 rebounds despite his foul trouble. It took a lot of intensity, Kohn said. We all stuck together, we were there for each other and we came through at the end. In the third quarter, Smith made a crossover move to break past two Lackey defenders and scored while getting hacked. He sunk his foul shot and cut the lead to 50-49 with 2:02 remaining. In opening the fourth, Kohn

searched for an open teammate, but settled on launching an NBA range three-pointer to take a 5654 lead. Lackey responded and managed to go ahead 71-65 with less than two minutes left in the fourth. After missing a layup, Ridley hustled back up the court, stole the ball, and hit a tough layup on a dish from Kohn. The Hornets immediately called a timeout and Lackey was called for traveling on the ensuing possession. With just over a minute to play, Great Mills put the ball in the hands of Smith, who was fouled and made two foul shots. The Hornets then sent Lackey to the line, but the Chargers couldnt hit, and Jacobs was there to pull down the board. He made an outlet pass to Smith, who then found Ridley driving to the basket for a layup. Ridley was fouled again on the play, and his foul shot knotted the game at 71. Five more shots from the charity line sealed the win. Its a great feeling, Peck said. These kids deserve it. They battled hard the whole season. They kept focus. Weve had distractions along the way but weve overcome a lot of things to beat a tremendously tough team in Lackey tonight. Were a close family out here, Smith said. Weve had a lot of things go on through the past year, but we came together and everybody stepped up, players stepped up, coach even stepped up. After the game, fans stormed the court and Hornet players and coaches cut down the net. An announcement was made that the girls team had won the SMAC title as well, defeating Lackey, 43-42, on the road. For Great Mills, the road doesnt end at SMAC, according to Kohn. States! he said. We have two games before that. Well take it one game at a time. They will have a first round bye in the playoffs and face the winner of the contest between Chopticon and La Plata, which will be played Friday night.
