CONSTRUCTION: The construction sector contributes around 10% of the Indian GDP.

The construction industry could be analyzed into various sub-segments: Power, Roads, Airports, and Telecom. This sector is highly fragmented which could be ascribed to the low entry barriers. MBL INFRA: MBL is engaged in the construction and maintenance of roads and highways, industrial infrastructure projects and other civil engineering projects for various government bodies and other clients. MBL has a fast growing business that provides integrated engineering, procurement and construction services for civil construction and infrastructure sector projects. Since the commencement of its business in 1994, the Company has done a range of construction and infrastructure projects in various sectors such as water and waste water, transportation, irrigation, industrial construction & parks (including SEZs), power transmission and distribution, and residential, commercial & retail property. Headquartered in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, RIL has five zonal offices and three regional offices to manage its business operations throughout India and an office at Sharjah in the United Arabic Emirates. The pan-India presence has enabled the Company to service the growing infrastructure needs across the country. IT The Indian IT sector has played a major role in placing India on the international map. It can be divided into five main components, viz. software, IT services, engineering and R&D services, ITES (IT-enabled services) & hardware. India has been the most favorable outsourcing hub due to its reasonably priced high quality labor. AUTOMOBILES The automobiles sector in India is a highly vibrant sector with all segments like passenger cars, two wheelers and commercial vehicles performing very well due to growth in India`s economy. Major players include Maruti Suzuki, Tata Motors, Mahindra and Mahindra, Hero Honda, Bajaj Auto, Ashok Leyland. TATA MOTORS: Tata Motors Limited is India s largest automobile company, with consolidated revenues of Rs.1,23,133 crores (USD 27 billion) in 2010-11. It is the leader in commercial vehicles in each segment, and among the top three in passenger vehicles with winning products in the compact, midsize car and utility vehicle segments. The Company is the world's fourth largest truck manufacturer, and the world's third largest bus manufacturer. The Company's over 25,000 employees are guided by the vision to be "best in the manner in which we operate, best in the products we deliver, and best in our value system and ethics." Established in 1945, Tata Motors' presence indeed cuts across the length and breadth of India. Over 5.9 million Tata vehicles ply on Indian roads, since the first rolled out in 1954. The rechristened Tata Daewoo Commercial Vehicles Company has launched several new products in the Korean market, while also exporting these products to several international markets. Today two-thirds of heavy commercial vehicle exports out of South Korea are from Tata Daewoo. In 2005, Tata Motors acquired a 21% stake in Hispano Carrocera, a reputed Spanish bus and coach manufacturer, and subsequently the remaining stake in 2009. Hispano's presence is being expanded in other markets. In 2006, Tata Motors formed a joint venture with the Brazil-based Marcopolo, a global leader in body-building for buses and coaches to manufacture fully-built buses and coaches for India and select international markets. In 2006, Tata Motors entered into joint venture with Thonburi Automotive Assembly Plant Company of Thailand to manufacture and market the Company's pickup vehicles in Thailand. The new plant of Tata Motors (Thailand) has begun production of the Xenon pickup truck, with the Xenon having been launched in Thailand in 2008.

FORCE MOTORS: Late Shri N.K.Firodia, a dedicated Gandhian and Visionary Industrialist, was the Founder-Managing Director of Force Motors. Having participated in the freedom struggle for India in 1932 and 1942 he was determined to achieve Industrial modernisation for India. He established, starting in 1950, in Collaboration with Vidal & Sohn, Hamburg, Germany the import and later progressive manufacture in India of the Tempo 3-Wheeler. To further modernise its LCV product range, the Company took up the production of the TRAVELLER, under licence from Daimler-Benz. A new Plant was set up in 1987, on a greenfield site in Central India at Pithampur in Madhya Pradesh. This modern facility was developed in close co-operation with DaimlerBenz. The plant is equipped with a modern conveyorised body welding and Electrophoretic dip painting shop. The Plant has been expanded to house a new Press Shop in 1997. OTHERS GUJARAT TERCE LABORATORIES: Gujarat Terce Laboratories is engaged in the manufacturing of tablets, capsules, syrup and injections pertaining to the product group, pharmaceutical formulations and ayurvedic medicines. The company is selling its product in the domestic as well as international market. GLOBAL VECTRA HELICORP LTD: GVHL is India s largest private helicopter company, with a fleet of 23 aircrafts, including Bell Helicopters (Bell 412), Eurocopters (EC 155, B1, EC 135 P2, and AS 350 B3) and 3 AgustaWestland Helicopters (AW 139). The fleet of helicopters, which range from small light helicopters to medium-sized twin helicopters, offer seating capacity for 4 15 passengers. GVHL offers offshore transportation services to the oil and gas sector and through Birdie, its onshore division, charter and airport shuttle services throughout the country. GVHL is listed on the National Stock Exchange and the Mumbai Stock Exchange. It is an ISO 9001-2000, 14001-2004, and OHSAS 18001-1999 certified company. These certifications cover all GVHL activities, including flight operations, engineering, safety, quality control, and commercial systems. GVHL s maintenance facility at the Juhu air base in Mumbai meets international quality standards and has received certification from the DGCA (Directorate General Civil Aviation). GVHL is a part of the Vectra Group of companies, which is engaged in Aviation, Heavy engineering, Real estate, Information and technology and Security systems.
