5. FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES

Suitable Extinguishing Media Hazards from Combustion Products Specific Hazards Water, carbon dioxide, dry chemical or foam. Under fire conditions this product may emit toxic and/or irritating fumes including carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide as well as oxides of nitrogen. This product is combustible. Product will burn if exposed to fire. May char at temperatures above 250C. Burns similar to dense wood. Concentrations of extremely fine dust in air (as from sanding) can explode if exposed to naked flame. Fire-fighters should wear full protective clothing and self contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) operated in positive pressure mode. Remove all sources of heat. Increase ventilation. Keep unnecessary personnel away. Wear sufficient respiratory protection and protective clothing to minimise skin and eye exposure. Sweep up material avoiding dust generation or dampen spilled material with water to avoid airborne dust, and then transfer material to a suitable container. Use absorbent paper dampened with water to pick up remaining material. Wash surfaces well, with soap and water. Seal all wastes in suitable labelled containers for eventual disposal. If large quantities of this material enter the waterways contact the Environmental Protection Authority, or your local Waste Management Authority. Keep material away from sparks, flames and other ignition sources. It is essential that all who come into contact with large quantities of this material, maintain high standards of personal hygiene i.e. washing hands prior to eating, drinking, smoking or going to the toilet. Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area, away from sources of ignition and out of direct sunlight. Maintain adequate fire protection when large volumes of product are stored. 10C - 30C Storage Conditions: Environmental Relative Humidity: 60 +/-10%.

8. EXPOSURE CONTROLS/PERSONAL PROTECTION

National Exposure Standards No exposure limits have been established for this material by the National Occupational Health And Safety Commission (NOHSC). However, during cutting/sanding dust may be generated. The TWA National Occupational Health And Safety Commission (NOHSC) exposure standards for dust not otherwise specified is 10 mg/m. No biological limit allocated. TWA - the Time-Weighted Average airborne concentration over an eight-hour working day, for a five-day working week over an entire working life. Use good general ventilation. This product may generate dust during cutting and sanding. Where this is the case local exhaust ventilation should be used. This product may generate dust during cutting and sanding. If engineering controls are not effective in controlling airborne exposure then respiratory protective equipment should be used suitable for protecting against airborne contaminants. Final choice of appropriate breathing protection is dependant upon actual airborne concentrations and the type of breathing protection required will vary according to individual circumstances. Expert advice may be required to make this decision. Reference should be made to Australian Standards AS/NZS 1715, Selection, Use and maintenance of Respiratory Protective Devices; and AS/NZS 1716, Respiratory Protective Devices. This product may generate dust during cutting and sanding. Safety glasses with side shields, goggles or full-face shield as appropriate recommended should be worn. Final choice of appropriate eye/face protection will vary according to
