INTRODUCTION

Education is very important to us. It serves as a key to success and an armor of our life. Connected with the term education is the institution that molds our intelligence, experiences and life prefers to school. Indeed, schools are very significant in building one educated society. Because the basis for the progressive and progressing country are the world class institutions and well performing schools.

The, school, in terms of design, must be innovative and trend set that reflects the performance of the school. And so it attracts the interest of the children to be more productive and well- learned.

The primary and secondary school are the initial steps towards development. These are the places that contribute to the special environment of learning; that actively stimulates the development of human being socially, emotionally, physically and intellectually and the development of special environment for growth and change. STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM: 1. Is it needed or required to allocate sight impaired children if this school only take handicapped and speaking and hearing impaired children? 2. Is it appropriate to put together the primary and secondary school in one building? 3. Are the sliding doors and windows feasible for primary and secondary school? 4. Are the windows enough for the entrance of natural light as seen on most school building in the country?

5.

How the design concept important is in proposing a primary and secondary school design?

6.

What are the advantages and disadvantage of using fiber glass for the design of the primary and secondary school?

7.

Is the elevator recommended for primary and secondary school/ students?

SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY: Towards students growth and change, the significance of this study is to give a positive impact by the designed contemporary school building complex to the students and teachers to be able to be globally competitive and make a total educated society.

II. DESIGN OBJECTIVES: 1. To be able to aesthetically and functionally integrate Anidolic Day lighting system in the building cell of the learning structures. 2. To be able to adopt cross- ventilation system to achieve strategic building openings and fenestrations that induces maximum indoor airflow. 3. To organize spatial patterns that inhabit spatial connection between built environment and human psyche thereby creating a learning venue which nourish educational interaction.

III. DESIGN GOAL:

The project aims to create design innovative school building complex that promotes energy efficiency and nourishes learning activities.
