1.0 Foreword from VP Project Management

Dear all AIESEC members,

It is indeed my gratification to present the idea of PBoX (Project Based on Exchange) to

you today. By going through this booklet, you will have a basic idea on our LC legendary
project MIRACLE that has created invaluable impacts towards the public in social issue,
and contributed to the building of talent pipeline in our local committee throughout the
years. It is such a pleasure for me to pass the baton to the next successor to complete
the relay race towards humankind’s sustainable future.

There are tons of projects and responsibility out there that offers various kinds of
learning and development opportunity. In AIESEC, we have structured learning
opportunity, intense hands-on experience, and self-discovery journey. There are
countless things we can pick up along the way to our goal. It is just a matter of how
badly we want it. We can’t decide the length of life, but we can alter the depth of life. I
am here to assure you at the final moment of this project, you will be rewarded with a
life-changing experience.

By taking this adventurous step, you are definitely open the door to a unique and
interesting learning experiences. These experiences will enhance your development in
becoming a leader of the changes in the community later. It would indeed be a
demanding yet an honourable task to perform. It requires COMMITMENT, FOCUS,
PERSISTANT and PASSION to drive positive changes to the organisation and
members. As a result, it would take you to the beyond from where you are now.

Lastly, you hold the key to open your mind to embrace the opportunity to grow. You are
the one who can decide your future.

2.0 Project General Information

2.1 The idea of PBoX (Project Based on eXchange)

There should be five major elements in a PBoX as illustrated below:

2.2 MIRACLE ‘09

For the concept of MIRACLE (Malaysia Interactive Cultural Learning Experience), by its
name we know there is no certain definition on the issue we are working on it. For this
year, we have decided to succeed last term issue, which is on Global Environmental
Issue. The focus (for example, on MIRACLE ’08 is Entrepreneurship) is to be added
upon further panning after recruiting the Project Director.
