43 2) Purpose of the Study The main objectives of the study are to: 1.

Develop material for orientation regarding Coronary Angiogram procedure in the form of video and interactive medium. 2.Determine if Routine Practice, Video Orientation and Interactive Orientation have significant effect on anxiety level among Coronary Angiogram patients. 3.Determine the difference among Routine Practice, Video Orientation and Interactive Orientation on their effect on anxiety level among Coronary Angiogram patients. 2) Layunin ng Pag-aaral Ang mga layunin ng iyong pag-aaral ay ang mga sumusunod: a. Upang makalikha nang pamamaraan ng pag sagawa ng orientation tungkol sa Coronary Angiogram na gagamit ng Video at Interactive Orientation.
b. Upang matukoy kung may epekto sa lebel ng kaba (level of anxiety) ng

pasyente na sasailalim sa Coronary Angiogram ang kinagawiang paghahanda, Video Orientation at Interactive Orientation.
c. Upang matukoy ang pagkakaiba sa kinagawiang paghahanda,Video

Orientation at Interactive Orientation sa epekto nito sa lebel ng kaba ng mga pasyenteng sasailalim ng Coronary Angiogram. 3) Approximate Number of Participants and the Expected Duration of Your Participation in the Study The study will take place at Philippine Heart Center. About 255 or more study participants will be enrolled to participate in the study. Study participants to be qualified will have to meet all the eligibility criteria. If you are enrolled, the duration of your participation is more or less than 2 hours from the start of the process. 3) Humigit-Kumulang na Bilang ng mga Kalahok at Inaasahang Tagal ng Iyong Pakikilahok sa Pag-aaral Ang pag-aaral ay isasagawa sa Philippine Heart Center. Humigi't kumulang 255 na mga kalahok ang ililista sa pag-aaral. Para matanggap ang mga kalahok, dapat matugunan ang mga pangangailangan. Kapag kayo ay napabilang sa mga kalahok, ang iyong pakikilahok ay inaasahang tatagal sa loob ng isang oras. 4) Study Treatments and Procedures Level of anxiety will be measured using the State trait Inventory at the baseline preprocedure at the study participants room. After the level of anxiety has been measured, the method of orientation will be applied to the participants. Another State Trait Inventory will be given to the participant post intervention.

44 4) Mga Pamamaraan ng Pag-aaral Ang mga pasyente ay sasagot ng State Trait Inventory tool bago isagawa nag orientation sa loob ng kwarto ng pasyente. 5) Benefits This study will benefit nurses in the standardization of nursing care and clinical pathways for Coronary Angiogram patients. It will help in the creation of a unified orientation program for patients undergoing Coronary Angiogram. Likewise, it will benefit future patients for Coronary Angiogram in alleviating their anxiety. 5) Mga Benepisyo Ang pananaliksik na ito ay mgbibigay daan sa hinaharap upang magkaroon ng isang programa na tutugon sa pag bibigay ng isang pangkabuuang impormasyon tungkol sa Coronary Angiogram sa mga pasenyteng sa sailalim sa nasabing procedure. Ito din ay makakatulong sa pagalis ng kaba sa mga pasyenteng sasailalim sa Coronary Angiogram. 6) Risk No added risk will be incurred by the patient who will participate in this study. However, we will need your time, effort and cooperation for the success of this study . Utmost care to the patients welfare will be observed in the highest regard. 6) Mga Panganib Walang karagdagang panganib na kaakibat ang pananaliksik na ito.
