Increased blood pressure can be prevented through proper management of hypertension and proper health teaching. Maam Solita has Hypertension already. Possible complications such as cerebrovascular accident can be prevented if it is managed early.

Maam Solita tends to smoke and has hypertension. It is a problem that needs immediate attention before it can cause more serious complications. 2 Lessening the cigarette consumption of Maam Solita is partially modifiable due to her attitude which hinders them on solving the problem. She has been smoking for over 10 years and finds it hard to quit. Interventions such as health teachings can be rendered to the family regarding the effects of smoking and how can it affect their health. 0.67 Theres a high possibility for the client to lessen cigarette consumption if interventions are managed early. This can cause diseases that can affect the health status of the family. 2 It is easily modifiable through keeping kitchen utensils and equipment clean can prevent contamination. Store left over foods in clean containers. 1 Through proper storage of food and practicing the interventions given such as keeping the foods in clean containers can prevent contamination of microorganisms that can cause diseases. 0 The family doesnt recognize it as a problem due to inadequate knowledge about the possible complications and diseases they can acquire. 3.67

Blood pressure generally increases after menopause. 1 Menopause is a natural event that normally occurs in a womans life and it cannot be prevented. But Menopauserelated hormonal changes can lead to weight gain and make the blood pressure increase. The family must be aware about this change and possible complication such as hypertension.
