System Requirements
This section describes the hardware and software system requirements to install ArchestrA System Platform 2012 products.

Hardware Requirements
The following shows the recommended hardware specifications to install and run ArchestrA System Platform 2012 with InTouch 2012.

Wonderware Application Server 2012 (version 3.5) Hardware Requirements

The following are hardware requirements specific to Application Server 2012 (version 3.5).

The recommended operating system for a Galaxy Repository is Windows 2008 R2 SP1. SQL Server 2008 SP1 Standard or Enterprise (32-bit) is the only supported version at this time.

The recommended operating system for InTouch development is Windows 2008 R2 SP1 or Windows 7 SP1. The recommended operating system for run-time nodes is Windows 7 SP1. SQL Server 2008 SP1 Express, Standard, or Enterprise (32-bit) is the only supported version at this time.

Antivirus Software Exclusions

After installing Wonderware Application Server, configure your antivirus software to prevent archive files from being scanned.

NOTE:

Ensure that subfolders of the listed directories are also excluded. If you are using a 64-bit operating system, folder names must be specified accordingly. For example, the program files root directory in a 64-bit operating system is C:\Program Files (x86)\... and the application data root directory in a 64-bit operating system is C:\ProgramData\...

Antivirus software should not scan files in the following ArchestrA folders:
