Hypopharynx T1 : tumor limit to one sub site of the HP and is 2 cm or less in greater diameter T2 : tumor involve more than one sub site or and adjacent site or > 2 and < 4 cm without fixation of hemilarynx T3 : tumor more than 4 cm or involve fixation of the hemilarynx T4a : tumor invade thyroid cricoid cartilage , hyoid bone , thyroid gland , esophagus or central compartment soft tissue ( prelaryngeal , strap muscle , subcutaneous fat ) T4b : tumor invade prevertebral fascia ,encase carotid a.
