Coaching Framework
The GAINMORE™ Coaching Framework – developed through 14 years of
international experience and research – is a powerful model for coaching development
and change closely aligned with organizational change and development that enables
leaders to confidently approach transformational and emergent change.
Coaching Process
GAINMORE™ leadership coaching has a unique six step coaching model, the
Strategic and Sustainable Excellence Staircase that has been proven time and again to
generate outstanding results across a wide range of different industries, across
different geographies and across cultures.
• Executive Coaching on a one-to-one basis for top and senior managers and
targeted individuals being groomed for senior positions.
• Coaching Advantage training provides the essential tools and techniques for
middle managers to regularly coach team members and address performance
issues.
Increasingly they are talented individuals who are being groomed for future leadership
as part of a succession management program or as part of a company’s on going
development initiatives. In many cases we are approached by organizations that want
our GAINMORE™ coaching to accelerate the development and further enhance the
performance of already successful, top-flight leaders.
Immediate Results
Coaching can vary with individual needs and we won’t try to force you into a program
that works for us. We assess and agree the amount of time that each individual needs
after an initial consultation.
SMART Evaluation metrics for behavioral change are established at the ‘Needs
Identification” stage. This includes:
• Specific and measurable behavioral change metrics agreed between coachee
and coach.
• Specific and measurable business metrics. These are highly dependent on the
coachee’s function but may include: sales metrics, staff turnover, employee
engagement, return on investment, profitability (stewardship), business
growth, quality of services.
Generating results for our clients is one of our core values. To achieve this we have a
rigorous program of quality control throughout our business.
Confidential reports are provided to each Coachee after each coaching session. These
reports include a review of the meeting, a benchmark of the present state and a map of
the desired state, a record of changes made and agreed to, models and techniques
which are appropriate for the individual Coachees to use, and a section on specific
actions to be taken to facilitate and embed the new behaviors and learnings.
It might be that managers are constantly being asked to do more with less, and the
ability to motivate yourself and others to accomplish and sustain results is
increasingly important.
To this end we have designed a series of powerful programs for busy executives to
learn and apply the additional skills that assist in improving their own and others drive
towards business excellence.
Typically run over four half-day sessions, we will give you a thorough introduction to
the basic principles of how relationships work, how to communicate effectively and
how to change the way you think to enable your improving your performance and
results.
At the end of each program, participants have the confidence to regularly coach team
members towards specific performance outcomes and, when necessary, have those
courageous conversations to address performance issues.
Certified GAINMORE™ Coaches are also trained in the use, interpretation and
coaching of the GAPPS assessments.
In the first year, coaches are provided 6 hours of personal coaching support and full
access to our online learning, support and knowledge management system.

Assessment Tools
GAPPS, the GAINMORE™ Advantage Potential to Performance System assessment
is a holistic suite of tools and frameworks that help our clients focus development
activities at three key levels – the organization, teams and individuals.
Offered to all individual coaching clients, GAPPS is an integral and powerful tool to
identify leadership development needs and the priorities for development.
GAPPS has been extensively tested with a reliability Cronbach alpha of 0.86 and
validated across the globe against 16PF, DISC, MBTI, Belbin Team Roles and Hay-
McBer MCQ. Unlike most leadership psychometrics, GAPPS has also been validated
and reliability tested in Singapore and Malaysia.
