MEMORANDUM FOR ALL SQUADRON MEMBERS FROM: CD for Cadets SUBJECT: Uniform-of-the-Day 1. The uniform-of-the-day (UOD) for the weekly meeting will be determined according to the attached table. With the sole exception of BTC staff and basics, who will always wear BDUs, all cadets will wear the proper UOD, provided they own all of the necessary parts. 2. Senior members are encouraged to wear the proper UOD, however they are certainly not required to do so. The Cadet Corps is appreciative of the assistance and oversight provided by senior members regardless of whether or not they are in a uniform, let alone the proper one. 3. Any questions, comments, or concerns should be directed to me at john.reutemann@b-cc.org.

Following Air Force tradition, cadet officers will not wear ribbons on the service uniform, but only on the service dress uniform. Cadet enlisted (airmen and NCOs) will wear all their ribbons on the service uniform, as well as on the service dress uniform.

The long-sleeve shirt always requires the tie/tab. Additionally, the cardigan sweater, pullover sweater, or lightweight jacket may be worn, even while indoors.
4 5
Except for the Cadet Command Staff, who will wear the service cap whenever they are in Blues.
PTUs are worn underneath by all cadets (including staff), regardless of whether or not they are taking a CPFT, since squadronwide PT is held for those not taking a CPFT. The PTU consists of the B-CC black t-shirt, tucked into black or dark blue athletic pants (winter months)/shorts (summer months), and it is worn under the BDU pants and blouse both to and from the meeting. This eliminates the need for private changing areas and it saves time. Cadets will bring running shoes with them to be worn with the PTU. BDU or black hat is worn with the PTU whenever outside or in formation, although it is always removed for physical exercise. Opening and closing formation will always be in BDUs.
