CAREER

Majesty began his acting career at the age of eight in 1998 when he joined the YOUTH DRAMA BAND in his local church in his native Bauchi. He made his stage acting debut in ITS YOUR NAME a well applauded stage drama in which he played the major cast. The encouragement he received made the young Majesty to pursue a career in theater In the year 2002, immediately after been admitted into first year at GONERIT MEMORIAL COLLEGE in Plateau state, he enrolled into LITERARY AND DEBATING SOCIETY as well as the PRESS CLUB, where he gained his recognition and respect as the youngest most performing actor on the stage, poet, writer and a newscaster then aging just 11years old. While in still in these clubs a youngster who has passion for the performing arts, he continued attending and performing at local shows around. Joining and winning different local talent shows. In 2005, Majesty was announced most gifted youngest actor and most gifted male debater, in the 2005 PRESS CLUB DAY, which is aimed at encouraging talents in the school. It was while still in the club that he wrote his first stage drama I KNOW ITS YOU though never published. In a mix of circumstances that lead to a breakdown in relationship with the senior boys, arguably due to his growing popularity and his outspoken personality against maltreatment, Majesty left the school and got transferred to COMMAND DAY SECONDARY SCHOOL in his native Bauchi

TREX

In 2006, he and a couple of his friends formed the group TREX, whose aim was to be singing during free lesson periods and social club days, but later changed plans, to writing songs as theme music for dramas, poems for the girls and lyrics for studio recording. In 2007, while in the group, they came up with ALL HAIL MY KING a poetic rap work composing mostly blank verses. The group consisted of The Senator, Salansa, C rex, Eree, and Dj Kemsy. Majesty was noted by the staff and school mates while in command as a a satiric poet and writer notably because of the manner in which he occasionally launch attacks at the school authority with his writings such as MR BATISTA,SIR! SOMEDAY SOMETIME, stage dramas that was highly critical of the management of the school something that almost landed in trouble with the authority. He was warned but he didnt stop In 2008, Majesty boycotted the social club excellence and achievement award day organized by the social club of the school under Jeremiah Ayegba. When asked why by his teeming fans he simply replied that lack of creativity in the entire system is my biggest scare and I wonder who deserve any plague!

MACOSA THEATRE AND F.C.S DRAMA BAND

After obtaining his O level, Majesty practically left TREX and was back fully into stage work mostly as a writer and director while willfully playing cameo roles, then being a little more matured, aging 18 in the year 2008.

The following year, the boy gained admission, though against his will, to study B.A MASS COMMUNICATION at the University of Maiduguri after financial constraint stopped him from going to METFILM SCHOOL, LONDON. There, however, Majesty settled and in his first year revived the MACOSA THEATRE and becoming the favorite producer among his colleagues. His first performance was in Elkanemi hall when he played Prof. Guttenberg in a unity comedy during the first year orientation night. Majesty joined F.C.S drama band were he distinguished himself as a stage writer and an actor becoming the live wire of the group while inspiring a lot of people. He is famous to lots of audience members for his unique acting skills that include amazing movement and unique voice in dramas. Majesty received his biggest applaud after an out-of-this world display in JUST A SIN which was staged in front of more than two thousand audience. Aside being a major cast he was most appreciated for introducing a new form of stage lighting technique and directing positioning.

CARING HEART
In the year 2010 Majesty produced (also the assistant director) a TV drama acted by the students of the department of mass communication and library science while playing the lead role of KELVIN CARTER in the same piece titled A CARING HEART. Majesty was however criticized by his colleagues for declining to appear in the most famous breakfast television show in Nigeria A.M M EXPRESS after he was spotted on location by a presenter from the Maiduguri network center his reasons being that he wasnt interested in fame, at least not now while still a college student. He likewise continued with his poetry career and as a solo artist, writing and recording stage dramas and short video diaries for friends.

KERTS MULTIMEDIA CREATION, ABUJA

After enjoying what was arguably his most productive year as a young film maker, a lot of film studios notably from Lagos, Abuja and Rwanda (Almond Tree Films, Kigali) came knocking, Majesty refused any pro contract stressing that I need to be equip enough to flush the whacks in Nollywood, so I need to be ready. His quest for becoming a good filmmaker, producer and director, made him join the family of creative individuals. In 2011, with the availability of easy video production softwares and portable cameras, he started, recording his own short stories. And that same year KERTS MLTIMEDIA CREATION, ABUJA signed him on as THE RESEARCH AND INFORMATION DIRECTOR and as an ARTISTE. His decision to sign his first pro contract with Kerts did not however go down well with his mother who has been the scepter behind his development as one of the most creative young filmmakers in Africa. The mother argued that he should have gone to a company that has enough money to march his ambitions.

THE ADVOCATE
Barely 5days after he signed his first pro contract, a known Drama director in Abuja, winner of the 2010 Abuja Christian drama director award, Thorpe Akimulero Tee, approached him to direct COVENANT DRAMA MINISTRYs maiden film. Being given the script and required to deliver within a short period of just a week, Majesty nevertheless accepted to work alongside Tee and almost immediately set out to work. He will be best remembered by CODRAM for his insistence on over night rehearsals and for axing whoever is contented with Nollywood standard of production?

TERMINAL 7 studios, Abuja shot the film in a one location as Majesty insisted on making the story than actually shooting it. He was rumored to have had a break down of health towards the end of the production and was reportedly homesick and crazy to see my mama

NIGERIAN MOVIE INDUSTRY

Majesty has been reportedly tired of the rubbish I see in Nollywood and has been launching criticisms at the makers of these whack movies that I dare not play on my DVDs. With the screen playing of his three hit stories TERMINAL 7(first seasonal story in Africa), STAND OUT and the first musical movie to be in Nigeria WHISKERS that has caught so many interest within Nigeria and abroad, Majesty is working towards the release of his first movie MOVING SKILLS, where he intends to feature some talented Nigerian upcoming artistes and a couple of others from the USA, and UK. Majesty has been touted by many as the long awaited messiah of the movie industry. His stories are in no way a march to any of the stories ever shot within and outside the continent of Africa by any Nigerian filmmaker. He is the founder of BRAVE HEART PICTURES and WILD TRIBE.

PRAISE, CONTOVERSY and CRITICISM

Majesty has been singled out by many as the perfect example of someone who understands what filmmaking is all about. James Cameron, one of his

foremost mentors, called him my heir and never stopped saying Majesty is picking up from where he stopped and is destined to rewrite the chronicle of filmmaking in Africa In 2009, Canadian Nigerian-born director, Lonzo Nzekwe described the two hit blockbusters by Majesty TERMINAL 7 and THE 13th as the best thing Africa is yet to see out of Nigeria A rising star is however not without side distraction. There has been a little rivalry between notable Nigerian top film makers, actors and Majesty. In 2009, Majesty, challenged all the top filmmakers in the industry to put their heads together and beat his story WHISKERS, a musical film he is set to shot in 2012. He later continued lashing out at the directors. His biggest target being OJ PRODUCTION going ahead to label its films as the best any lazy film making company can produce. In 2010, he launched an attack on directors and producers Fred Amata, Chike Ejiro, Ojiofor Ezeanyache, calling them worst of serious filmmaking and nevertheless best of Nollywood. Majesty described Teco Benson as the only man up to his standard alongside Jet Amata. He was reported to have said they are the best; Ill tell them when I see them. In April 2011, his attack on Nollywood grew wider when he wrote on social networking site Facebook I wonder who employ the likes of Mercy Johnson to act in Nollywood saying she and the producers of her whack and scary films are not qualified to be his students. His comments were however noted when he said SUPER STORY is Nigeria best TV Drama series but wondered whether Wale Adenuga has ever realized that he isnt creative at all. He ended that series of attacks by saying that if I were any

of you I will hide those plaques in the darkest regions of my room and stop claiming respect for them referring to the winners of movie awards in Nigeria. In November 2011, during a location rehearsal in Jos, Majesty confessed to be deeply hurt and ashamed of the lack of creativity and hard work killing the movie industry. Majestys admiration for Genevieve, Kate Henshaw, Stephanie Okereke, Kanayo O Kanayo, Desmond Eliot, Majid Michael, Van Vicka and gangster act Hanks Anuku is never hidden. He described them during his contract signing with KERTS as the balm keeping Nollywood from decaying.
