INTRODUCTION:
Field work is the process of increasing knowledge and skills by relating the practical concepts with the theoretical concepts taught in the classroom. Anjaneya apparels in Madurai have chosen for the final year project. Anjaneya apparels is an dress manufacturing company with all functional departments like production department, administrative department, finance department, quality control department and creative head department. This report shows the detailed form of analysis of the concepts taught in classroom with the practical occurrences in the Anjaneya apparels.

On practical view, Human Resource Management is excellent in Anjaneya apparels. The organizations hierarchy, training methods, compensation systems Selection and recruitment process, attendance maintenance are viewed. Let us see one by one. WORKERS IN THE ORGANIZATION: The details of these employees are maintained by the human resource department. In Anjaneya apparels there are 100 employees include both labors and staffs. Out of 100 employees, nearly 80 employees are women. The numbers of employees working in the production unit are following, WORKING HOURS: The working hours are nearly 9, 1/2 hours for both workers and staffs, i.e. from 9AM to 6.30PM with half an hour of lunch time. Over time (OT) is also employed in Anjaneya apparels but over time is applicable for only workers. Overtime works are done during festival season only for 2, 1/2 only.

SALARY STRUCTURE: The structure of salary depends upon the designation and performance of the particular employee. Consolidated pay is given to a newly joined employee for the first 6 months. Pay revision will be taken once in every 6 months or once in every year according to the performance in working period. For a newly joined employee, a work dairy is provided to analyze his or her performances based on his or her functions and responsibilities. This will be helpful in future salary revision. Dearness allowance and incentives are given to all workers and staffs. Duty allowance has some exemptions. Duty allowance is for those employees who have the responsibilities to do extra works like going out for company work, doing over time. Thus the company is paying to such employees for their extra stress and extra physical work.

LEAVE POLICY: Working hours for all labors is nearly 9 hours a day. Employees are allowed to take 12 days of casual leave (CL) for a year. These 12 days of leave includes 9 days of government holidays. Thus employees are given with provision of extra 6 days of leave other than government holidays. Also if a particular employee has not utilized the casual leave, he or she will be benefited with the regular pay for those worked days. Hence this leave is called as encashment leave because employees are benefited for their extra work. Thus this encashment leave acts as motivation for employees by gaining income through working properly. Since most of the workers are female workers, Anjaneya apparels provides 91 days of maternity leave with pay for female workers. Every Sunday there will be holiday.

EMPLOYEE DISMISSAL PROCEDURE: Cessation of service on either side i.e. resignation or dismiss, is by giving one month prior notice. In case of resignation, the concern employee should one month prior notice to the management. If the concern employee was not able to give one month prior notice to the management, he or she should give one months salary to the management. In case of dismiss, the management gives one month prior notice to the concern employee. The workers can be dismissed if they theft any of the product in the organization. The staffs can be dismissed in case of very poor performance. EMPLOYEE SAFETY PROGRAMS: Workers are provided with masks, metal hand gloves.. Metal hand gloves are used to protect to their hands from machines. Fire extinguishers are also placed in all units for the safety of employees. Proper working environment such as lightings, fans are provided to the employees. And first aid kid was placed in work place. ABOUT THE MANAGEMENT: Anjaneya apparels is a partnership business as a women entrepreneurs business, with the founder as Mrs. R.lakshimi and her son Mrs. R.chandra. Even though its a family owned business, everyone is provided with equal opportunities and there is no abuse of power and authority. SUPPLIERS OF ANJANEYA APPARELS: Anjaneya apparels utilizes the raw materials bought from Mumbai especially fabrics items. And also company purchase material from tirupur. MARKETING INTERMEDIATARIES:

Anjaneya apparels have a separate person to associate the trading between the company and their customers. Here there will be no advertisement only sales representative will get orders from customers. PRODUCTION LAYOUT Production l LAYOUT refers to the production structure here production system will be divided into three section sec A, sec B, sec C. Each section are having certain level of manufacturing the shirts sec a deals from cutting of shirts to main packet and section b start from label to feed of arm finally section c starts from callor to kaja button. After ironing and packaging works are to be done to make final product.

FINANCE: INTRODUCTION: Financial management for any corporate provides a conceptual and analytical framework for financial decision making. Let us see the financial management in Anjaneya apparels. ACCOUNTING INFORMATION: In Teddy Exports, there is a separate finance department with accounts learnt staffs. They manage and take decisions in all the financial aspects of Anjaneya apparels. ACCOUNTING DOCUMENTATION: Anjaneya apparels maintaining balance sheets, profit and loss account, income statements, common size statements, Invoice, Packing List, Etc. The calculation of day to day activities is updated in the Tally software. There are maintaining day to day transactions, journals, ledgers in the Tally software regularly.

SCOPE OF THE STUDY

The scope of the study is limited to Anjaneya apparels madurai. This study will not reflect other metal companies.

The study is made on the valuable inputs provided by the employees whose option is vital to the company.

This study will facilitate the steps to be taken by Anjaneya apparels Madurai to enhance job satisfaction of employees in the future.
