Problem

Strictly implementing the training plan for 2009 given the cost assumptions/set budget, and DNA summaries made in coordination with the line heads.

Objectives To develop a detailed training calendar for 2009 and enhance the look of training invites To systematize a comprehensive database of ON-EX training providers (program offerings and schedules, contact details, pricing) To furnish Training Assistant with complete listing of public seminar requirements for the year To fully operationalize the Training database for easy access To develop the cost assumptions for close monitoring

Decision Criteria

Training plan must be within the set training budget 2009 Calendar must be complete and published by beginning of the year All databases must be fully operational and accessible to all employees by 1Q All training programs must be evaluated and monitored within 3-6 months of rollout

Outcome: Calendar will not be followed and implemented ~ possibly no training offering

Set aside all trainings for the end of the month so as to provide for last minute changes to be done in the 1st 2 weeks of each month. Develop a list of training venues and accredited providers Have quarterly meetings to enhance communication of directions Set up a system in coordination with training assistant on how to go about improving developed system and establishing customer service standards Create a per seminar profile inclusive of possible providers, outline, matrix of different providers/cost benefit analysis, possible dates of runs Create a quarterly, weekly and daily set up of monitoring in coordination with the planned training calendar Continue looking for and accrediting training providers Take up as many seminars as possible to accredit training providers Use the corkboard to develop a daily or weekly checker of programs especially for public seminars
