Szanowni Pastwo, W imieniu wasnym i organizatorw Konkursu 6 Baltic Sea Wonders, funkcjonujcego w ramach Programu Interreg IV B, Heritage Tourism for Increased BSR Identity, Agora 2.0, ktrego liderem jest Uniwersytet w Greifswaldzie, Niemcy (Prof. W. Steingrube), a polskim partnerem odpowiedzialnym za prowadzenie konkursu jest Krajowa Fundacja Kultury Przedsibiorczoci w Gdyni , ktr reprezentuj i uprzejmie chciabym prosi o pomoc w upowszechnieniu informacji o konkursie. Konkurs jest prowadzony w ramach projektu, ktrego celem jest promocja potencjaw dziedzictwa kulturowego i przyrodniczego Regionu Morza Batyckiego, czyli obiektw historycznych, centrw miast, miejsc cennych przyrodniczo i innych tzw. Potencjaw Dziedzictwa Kulturowego i Przyrodniczego, ktre stanowi podstaw rozwoju zrwnowaonej turystyki w regionie Morza Batyckiego. Czynnik ten powinien rwnie prowadzi do aktywizacji ekonomicznej tego regionu. W zaczniku przesyamy list 65 nominacji, ktre zostay zgoszone przez 25 partnerw projektu Agora 2.0 (wadze samorzdowe, orodki akademickie, organizacje zajmujce si rozwojem turystyki i promocj przedsibiorczoci). Gosowanie w ramach konkursu posiada form internetow i odbywa si przez stron http://www.6-bsr-wonders.net/. Opisy nominowanych atrakcji zawarte s na w/w stronie internetowej. Udzia w konkursie dofinansowanym ze rodkw Unii Europejskiej jest bezpatny i ma na celu promocj potencjaw turystycznych Regionu Morza Batyckiego. Naszym celem jest zainteresowanie konkursem jak najszerszej spoecznoci lokalnej, dlatego uprzejmie prosimy o: 1) Upowszechnienie informacji o konkursie poprzez lokalne media, szkoy, Internet etc. 2) Zamieszczenie na stronie internetowej urzdu miasta lub gminy linku http://www.6-bsr-wonders.net/ oraz informacji zachcajcej do gosowania w ramach konkursu 6 Cudw Batyku na rzecz poparcia lokalnej kandydatury. 3) Dowolne i kreatywne dziaania na rzecz popularyzacji uczestnictwa w gosowaniu na rzecz polskich i batyckich potencjaw dziedzictwa kulturowego i przyrodniczego. Udzia w konkursie posiada wydwik patriotyczny i oparty na solidarnoci europejskiej. Ksztatuje on wartociowe postawy yciowe budujc zainteresowanie przyrodniczym i kulturowym dziedzictwem Morza Batyckiego i polskiego wybrzea. Promocja uczestnictwa w konkursie moe rwnie wpywa na wzrost zainteresowania turystw polskimi i europejskimi obiektami dziedzictwa oraz korzystnie wpywa na rozwj turystyki zrwnowaonej i gospodarki turystycznej. Baltic Sea Region Cultural Heritage Properties Monuments and sites : MS 1) architectural works, works of monumental sculpture and painting, elements or structures of an archaeological nature, inscriptions, cave dwellings and combinations of features, which are of outstanding BSR value from the point of view of history, art or science; 2) works of man or the combined works of nature and of man, and areas including archaeological sites which are of outstanding BSR value from the historical, aesthetic, ethnological or anthropological points of view. Architectural complexes: AR groups of separate or connected buildings which, because of their architecture, their homogeneity or their place in the landscape, are of outstanding BSR value from the point of view of history, art or science; Waterfronts and traditional harbor areas WH Places that connect sea, land and marine life, that maintain exceptional traditional shape, preserve and revitalize functions and activities connected with fishery, or sea travel, or sea culture, or of naval or nautical significance, or of coastal history with outstanding condition and social climate. Also, places that maintain exceptional shape where marine constructions and buildings are or were used in life activities. Cultural heritage events and sites CU Events of different cultural character that represent important cultural values (music, art, literature etc.), or reconstructions that refer to important historical events, old life in the reliable form, or include activities that preserve traditions of the Baltic Sea Nations. Also sites where those activities are performed, that maintain exceptional shape. Art and Craft Collections AC Places with exceptional collections of art objects or craft exhibitions, that have significant impact on cultural identity of BSR, important for cultural development, education and for Nations and Ethnic Groups on the Baltic Sea. Technical heritage TH Objects, constructions, installations and other technical appliances that represent significant technological achievements and inventions of Baltic Sea Nations, that are maintained in the exceptional condition. Baltic Sea Region Natural Heritage Properties Earth history natural evidence and natural phenomena: EH Sites nominated should therefore: 1) be outstanding examples representing major stages of earths history, including the record of life, significant ongoing geological processes in the development of landforms, or significant geomorphic or physiographic features; 2) contain superlative natural phenomena (); Wildlife WL Sites nominated should therefore: - be outstanding examples representing significant ongoing ecological and biological processes in the evolution and development of terrestrial, fresh water, coastal and marine communities of animals Plant life PL Sites nominated should therefore: - be outstanding examples representing significant ongoing ecological and biological processes in the evolution and development of terrestrial, fresh water, coastal and marine communities of plants;

Landscape beauty LB Sites nominated should therefore: - contain areas of exceptional natural beauty and aesthetic importance;

National parks and other protected areas NP Should contain the most important and significant natural habitats for in-situ conservation of biological diversity, including those containing threatened species of outstanding universal value from the point of view of science or conservation Islands IS Islands that represent the exceptional connection of sea and land ecosystems with significant impact of the sea on land, may include endemic species of animals and plants, with undamaged condition and natural beauty.
