Amendment No: 1 1. Following are added to the Explanatory notes for price schedule (Section VII) as per railway requirements. Descriptions should read with relevant item ref no of the tender document in Section VII. Sl.No 1 Item ref No. 2a, b ,c Descriptions The foundation concrete shall be of M15 grade with nominal mix of 324 kg of cement per cu.m and M20 grade with 400 kg of cement per cu.m for grouting. For foundation and grouting 20 m ballast shall be used with 1 :2 : 4 ratio of cement, sand and ballast respectively. 2 3 3a 3 b &c Traction mast of B150 and B200 type shall be used uniformly in the yard with galvanization level of 1000 gram per sq.m. Small parts steel also shall be of 1000 gram per sq.m galvanization level. Cantilever assembly shall be provided with adopter for top and bottom 4 4a (i),(x) mast fittings. The stay and bracket insulators provided shall be of composite insulators of 1050 mm creepaged distance (CD). The cantilever assembly provided for tram way OHE shall be with 90 cm encumbrance and cadmium copper catenary wire in lieu of bridle wire for tram way bracket assembly. Conventional OHE shall be run as reliable measure for the triangle area from Attipattu Pudhu Nagar and Attipattu including cross overs involved and upto road No. 1 & 4 of Holding Yard- 1. 5 7e Supply and erection of Cross Track Feeder and Along track Feeder 150 sq.mm copper conductor shall only be used with 160 Sq.mm jumper wire wherever it is required. 6 7 8 8a, (v) 8b, i,ii,ix Modified 3 pulley Regulating Equipment shall be used with anti falling arrangements fixed on mast/structure as per the latest drawing. For termination, composite cut in insulators of 1050 CD shall be used. 11a, & 11a (ii) 9 tonne composite cut in insulators of 1050 mm CD shall be used.

25 KV isolators shall be of 1250 Amps capacity with 1009 connectors and 160 sq.mm jumper wire. Shall combinedly be used invariably for all locations as the sandy soil is available in the entire area of EPL Siding where earth resistance will be on higher side.

25 KV vacuum interrupter shall only be used in the proposed SSP near Holding yard 1. 25 KV vacuum circuit breaker shall only be used in the SSP proposed by Construction Branch between Attipattu Pudhu Nagar and Attipattu including Current Transformer and control and relay panel. ( item No. 45 c)

Solid copper bus bar 18 mm shall only be used at all isolator locations. Supply and erection of tubular alu. Bus bar of 50 mm outer diameter shall only be used in all bus bars in the SSP proposed as well as of CB connection in the SSP which is under construction by Construction Branch.

Shall not be used in the proposed SSP Current Transformer of 200/400/5 amps rating -New items to be added in the Attipattu/SSP. Provision of RTU in the new SSP as well as upgradation of software and working station at Chennai Central, a provision works would be carrying out under item No.61 to 64 by Railways during the OHE work.

In the BOQ 1: Supply portion of work Sl.No: 61 & 62 are deleted. In the BOQ 2: Erection portion of work Sl.No: 70 & 71 are deleted. In the BOQ 2: Erection portion of work, the SL.No: 56 is deleted. The Note, given in clause 10.1 switching station building, Section V of Technical Specification stands deleted. The construction of switching station building is included in this tender, the drawing of switching Station building is appended (Drawing No: 2).
