Research Design Study Area Describe the study area and give reasons for choosing that area. Materials The list of materials and equipment that will be needed in the study needs to be listed in this part. Methodology The methods of conducting the research/dissertation/project need to be specified and described in this section. These include a) Data Collection Methods Whether primary of secondary data will be used Whether structured, semi-structured or unstructured interviews will be used b) Sampling Techniques Method of sampling (choosing the sample population) c) Research Instruments Like questionnaires for interviews d) Data Analysis Methods Methods of data analysis The data analysis software to be used e) Design or development of hardware or software f) Testing of developed hardware or software The general methods that will be used should be given. The specific methods that will be used for each objective/question/hypothesis should be given for each objective/question/hypothesis.
