Essential duties:
Support in issue and finalization of the basic design process scope specification to EPC Reviewing existing data and information required to finalize the basic design specification and check of initial design considerations Performing/checking of hydraulic calculations Accountable for the successful input of engineering deliverables. Accountable for the successful output EPC deliverables at order start Interface with other internal engineering disciplines (mechanical, civil/structural, electrical, instrumentation, automation, architecture, etc.) to ensure a coordinated design and complete engineering deliverables. Interface with Client and vendors to define project scope, resolve technical issues in Hengelo or at clients/vendors premises Participation in Client/contractor meetings, preparation of meeting minutes and action items lists. Check vendor drawings to insure design accuracy and compliance with specifications. Assistance in evaluation of process equipment working closely with other specialists within our facility

Support in risk assessment, including hazard and operability (HAZOP) studies, for the health and safety
Familiarity with API, ASME and ANSI standards. Knowledge of ASME pressure vessel regulations Knowledge of hazardous area requirements and certifications related to instrument installation. Experience with process design codes for scrubbers Knowledge of HTFS/HTRI process design for air cooled heat exchangers Knowledge of Pluspetrol standards and specifications is a plus Knowledge of Peruvian local standards and regulations is a plus Process simulation experience with HYSYS or other software is a plus Knowledge of the English language Education on required bachelor/academic level
