Digitel Mobile Philippines, Inc., is a mobile telecommunication service provider in the Philippines doing business as Sun Cellular. Sun Cellular takes the number two spot in overall postpaid subscriptions and is no. 1 in Postpaid line acquisition for the year. Sun Cellular launched The Sun Shop Express Business Package Program to help provide business opportunities for entrepreneurial Filipinos. Sun unveiled the CTU 25, Call & Text Unlimited Sun-to-Sun for only P25 for 1 day.

Sun Cellular joined the Asia Mobility Alliance (AMI) along with other key regional telco players. Sun Cellular entered the 3.5G wireless broadband arena with its Sun Broadband Wireless.

Sun Cellular capped the year with 4,000 cell sites to support the needs of its 8.2 million subscribers Sun Cellular launched the Easy Line that only requires a filled application form, a valid ID, and advanced payment of their Monthly Service Fee. Sun Call and Text International SIM has been launched to enable subscribers to communicate with their loved ones abroad at the lowest possible rate. Sun Cellular reached 10 million subscribers.
