C.W.L. would like to thank the parish for their support 3RD SUNDAY OF ADVENT
in our recent raffle for the knitted Nativity scene.
We raised £171 for our charities and the winner was WEEKEND MASSES

on Sunday 21st December at 3pm.
Any children (aged 4+) who would like to take part in the Nativity
scenes at the Carol service should be at St Felix Church after
9am mass on the 21st, for a short rehearsal. If anyone would like
to take part but cannot be at the morning rehearsal

DES WARD, R.I.P
I received news during the week that Des, husband of Mary, dies at
Coniston nursing home. Though he was not a Catholic, his brief funeral
service will take place on Wednesday, 17th December, in the Convent
chapel at 2pm, followed by interment at Felixstowe cemetery.
May he rest in peace.
SECOND COLLECTION THIS WEEK
SICK & RETIRED PRIESTS FUND
There is a second collection this week and next for all the sick and re-
tired priests of the diocese. Many older priests have inadequate pensions
for their retirement, working in the days when money in the diocese was
scarce and used mainly to build up the physical plant.
PLEASE BE GENEROUS TO THEM!
