Advice for Life and the 3 Ps (Prevention, Protection, Prosecution)


A combination of partnership projects that provide advice, information, counselling, training, employment, guidance and mentoring services. Services provided under partnership projects: Advice and Information in Farsi, Turkish, Kurdish, English and Arabic Providing confidential and specialist face to face, telephone and outreach advice in violence against women in particular honour based violence, forced marriages, female genital mutilation, housing, and welfare benefits. Counselling in Farsi, English and Kurdish Providing short and long term counselling and making appropriate referrals where needed. Training & Awareness Raising Seminars/Conferences Providing training and awareness raising seminars and conferences in honour based violence, forced marriages and female genital mutilation to both professionals and community members. Employment Advice, Guidance and Mentoring Providing face to face and group sessions employment advice and information, guidance and mentoring to refugee women. Partner organisations
IKWRO: Iranian and Kurdish Womens Rights Organisation IKWRO is a registered charity established in 2002 and provides support, advice and advocacy to women and girls of Middle Eastern origin, in particular Farsi, Kurdish, Arabic, Turkish and Dari speaking women and girls who are facing domestic violence, forced marriage, female genital mutilation and honour based violence. RWA: Refugee Womens Association RWA: Refugee Womens Association is a registered charity and company limited by guarantee, which was established in 1993. RWA provides specialist advice and support on education, training, employment, manage training programme, and provides information and advice on welfare issues. RWA campaigns on key policies affecting refugee women. PAPATYA (Germany) PAPATYA is a shelter for girls and young women suffering from honour related violence and provides temporary shelter, protection and counselling to help young women and girls to lead independent lives. PAPATYA is a partner on the 3 Ps project.
