BORL is a Company promoted by Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd., with equity participation from Oman Oil Company S. A. O. C., Oman. BORL has set up a 6 MMTPA grass root petroleum refinery at Bina, Madhya Pradesh. The state-of-the-art refinery has commenced production and is fully operational. Other than refinery located at Bina, there is a Crude Oil Terminal located at Vadinar (Jamnagar, Gujarat), a 935 KM long cross country underground pipeline across Gujarat & Madhya Pradesh to transport crude oil to Bina, a marketing terminal at Bina spread over 640 acres and a 257 KM long underground cross country pipeline to Kota (Rajasthan) for dispatching end products. Other than green fuels such as unleaded Euro III and Euro IV grade of Petrol and Diesel, refinery produces Kerosene, LPG, ATF, Naphtha, Pet Coke, and Sulphur. For the comfort and welfare of the employees at Bina, there is a Residential Complex close to the refinery, with a shopping centre, a reputed school with education upto Class X (DAV BORL Public School), a Club House with well equipped recreational facilities, and a hospital with health care facilities (Vivekananda Kendra BORL Hospital). Manager (Process)

Qualification: B. E. / B. Tech. in Chemical Engineering from a reputed University Experience: 10 to 14 years experience in operating units in Oil Refining / Fertilizer / petrochemical Industry with 3-4 years experience in independently guiding the process team in running & monitoring different process plants. Hands-on experience in DCS operations is a must.

Manager (Process Technology)

Qualification: B.E. /B. Tech. in Chemical Engineering from a reputed University Experience: 10 to 14 years process experience in Technical Services / Process Engineering department of petroleum refineries / petrochemicals / engineering companies / other major Process Industries out of which minimum 4 to 5 years experience in Process Technology of Hydrocracker / Coker / Platformer etc.

Manager (Optimization)

Qualification: B. E. / B. Tech. in Chemical Engineering from a reputed University Experience: 10 to 14 years experience in Technical Services department of petroleum refineries / petrochemicals / engineering companies / other major Process Industries, out of which minimum 4-5 years experience in Advanced Process Control (APC), Simulation Packages etc. Knowledge of latest Chemical engineering software is essential.

Manager (Project Technology)

Manager (Energy & Environment)

Qualification: B. E. in Environment or Chemical Engineering with Post Graduate Diploma in Environment from a reputed University Experience: 10 to 14 years experience in refinery / petrochemical / large scale process plant out of which minimum 5 years should in area of Energy & Environment. Candidate should have sound knowledge & indepth practical experience of environment management systems & statutory guidelines applicable to refining industry. BEE accredited Energy Auditor / Energy Manager certification desirable. Successful candidate will be in-charge of Energy & Environment section of refinery and shall be responsible for devising & implementing energy conservation & environment management strategies in the refinery.

Asst. Manager (Environment)

Qualification: B. E. in Environment or Chemical Engineering from a reputed University Experience: 2 to 5 years experience in environment section of refinery, petrochemical or a large scale process plant. Candidate should be conversant with latest Acts and Rules on Environment & Pollution Control and have hands-on experience in environment monitoring work, preparation of compliance reports, record keeping of environment data and conducting awareness campaigns.

Manager (Instrumentation)

Qualification: B. E. / B. Tech. in Instrumentation & Control from a reputed University Experience: 10 to 14 years of experience in planning scheduling and executing planned instrument maintenance, break down and preventive instrumentation maintenance in Oil Refinery / Petrochemical Industry and process plants. Budgeting, resource management and expertise in managing contracts will be an added advantage.

Manager (Inspection)

Qualification: B. E. / B. Tech. in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering from a reputed University Experience: 10 to 14 years of inspection experience in a Refinery / Petrochemical / Fertilizer industries etc. Candidate should have hands-on experience in inspection of static equipments like column, vessels, heat exchanger, heaters etc. in a running plant along with thorough knowledge of relevant National & International Codes / Standards (ASTM, API, ASME, TEMA, NACE, ANSI, and IBR etc), various welding techniques and should be conversant with Cathodic protection, RBI, RLA techniques, Failure Analysis, advanced techniques like TOFD, Acoustic Emission, Eddy Current testing method etc. Knowledge on corrosion in Refineries / Petrochemicals etc. will be preferred.

Assistant Manager (Fire & Safety)

Qualification: B. E. / B. Tech. in Fire or Chemical Engineering from a reputed University and Diploma in Industrial Safety from Recognized Institute. Experience: 2 to 5 years experience in the field of Fire & Safety in any oil refinery / petrochemical / fertilizer plant etc.

Assistant Manager (Captive Power Plant)

Qualification: B. E. / B. Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from a reputed University Experience: 3 to 5 years experience in Operations and Maintenance in Solid Fuel (Pet Coke / Coal) Based / AFBC / CFBC / PF Fired Power Plant in any oil refinery / petrochemical / fertilizer plant etc. Must be able to operate / control CPP from DCS. Candidates with Diploma from NPTI will be preferred. Certificate in Boiler Proficiency Examination is a must.

Assistant Manager (Electrical)

Qualification: B. E. / B. Tech. in Electrical Engineering from a reputed University Experience: 2 to 5 years experience in electrical maintenance in an operating refinery / petrochemical / fertilizers industry. Candidate shall be experienced in installations / commissioning/ testing of electrical equipments such as generators, motors, transformers, drives, UPS, EOT cranes etc.

Manager (Commercial)

Qualification: B. E. / B. Tech. in Chemical / Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation from a reputed university Experience: 10 to 14 years experience in procurement, purchase, warehousing and contract management in a large industrial unit / hydrocarbon processing plant / organization. Experience in dealing with Customs, Central Excise, Export / Import procedures & statutory authorities would be an added advantage. Excellent teamwork, inter-department co-ordination, exceptional commercial negotiations skills, and good network with manufacturers & suppliers are desired attributes. Knowledge of working on SAP platform is essential.

Assistant Manager (Finance)

Manager (Finance)

The job responsibilities cover treasury & banking management, financial reporting, administration of accounts, administration of taxes, audit etc. Person with knowledge of working on SAP platform would be preferred. Asst. Vice President / Manager (Secretarial)

Qualification: ICSI (Company Secretary) Experience: 18 years experience for Asst. Vice President and 10 to 14 years experience for Manager required. Should have experience in dealing with company matters, conversant with Company Law, registration of companies, corporate governance, SEBI procedures and dealing with shareholder matters, etc. The role would involve secretarial and legal matters of the company, investor relations, dealing with external agencies such as Registrar of companies, Company Law Board and other regulatory bodies, compliance with corporate laws, SEBI guidelines and Stock exchange listing agreements, conducting Board / Shareholders Meeting, drafting of minutes and other reports.
