Installation
1. Unzip the downloaded file 2. If any other version of eCom from eyeP Media has been already installed, we strongly recommend to i) uninstall this former version and ii) to remove all configuration files usually located under: C:\Documents and Settings\<USER>\Application Data\eyePMedia\eCom (XP case) or C:\Users\<USER>\Appdata\Roaming\eyePMedia\eCom (Vista & Seven cases). 3. SIP Settings
Name: is a free field to identify your line. It has no effect on the SIP settings. URI: is a string formed by the tag sip: followed by the Register Id of the line, followed by the char @ and then the Fully Qualified Domain Name for the Application Server. If your Register ID is 2419994402 and the domain configured for the Subscribers line is as.domain.net, then the corresponding URI is: sip:2419994402@ as.domain.net
Outbound Proxy: set this field only if mentioned in your connection parameters. If Outbound Proxy is not mentioned, just leave this field empty. Otherwise, it is a Fully Qualified Domain Name like proxy.domain.net or xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx. Transport Protocol: select which transport is to be used (UDP, TCP, TLS). Usually it is UDP. Identifier/Password: If the Authentication service is configured, these parameters must be configured to match the settings (Authenticating Id & Password) provided by your operator.
