JOB DESCRIPTION FOR THE BUSINESS MANAGER OF A DIVISION

Position: Business Manager (Division Specific) Division Director Director of Business Management (if applicable) Worldwide Business Manager (if applicable) Business Managers have total customer business responsibility or program specific responsibility within a Division. The Business Manager is the liaison between the customer and the business and directs all aspects of managing the customers business needs and solutions. Coordinate and manage the business requirements for the Customer within the Division, including: Identifying opportunities that best utilize our infrastructure and meet customer requirements Developing customer pricing strategy that focuses on profitability of the business and remains competitive Monitoring and communicating key customer metrics Proactively communicating with the Customer on business issues and strategic opportunity. Managing customer team to proactively develop product and service solutions to 1) increase customer service/satisfaction; 2) reducing customers costs Verifying division is meeting contractual obligations of the customer(s) to ensure maximum customer satisfaction Manage and support cross-functional team that is responsible for meeting customer requirements/service Work with Operations Team to ensure sufficient capacity is available within division to carry out the objectives and delivery of products and services as agreed to under the SOW Review all internal and external reporting, ensuring deadlines are met on timely and accurate basis Monitor corrective actions Ensure division is improving efficiency/service by analyzing corrective actions and enhancing solutions Resolve problems by adjusting priorities, schedules and reassigning manpower where practical and necessary

Monitor inventory levels Control obsolete and excess inventory Work with customer to provide inventory model that will effectively reduce inventory and increase inventory turns
Working knowledge of the Business Management process Outstanding communication skills at all levels (written and verbal)

Skills/Requirements:

Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams and in a project management environment Strong analytical skills including exposure to systems and familiarity with SPC (Statistical Process Control) Demonstrated ability to plan and manage multiple tasks/projects 2+ years of successfully managing people Strong general business background including financial acumen Proven ability to provide high level customer service 5+ years solid management experience BA or BS (or equivalent) required MBA preferred
