INTRODUCTION
Ambodimanga is a small village at 20 kilometers from the town of Digo, and 14 kilometers from the rural council of Antanamitarana

HOW DID YOU GO ABOUT IDENTIFYING THIS PROBLEM?


MAIN ISSUES IN THE VILLAGE: -Traditional values and practices are still well respected in our village - Morengy (Fighting), is one of the favourite traditional and most practised sport in the village. However, during these shows, the assistance and the fighters drink alcohol and smoke drugs -There is also the existence of night clubs which encourage young men to drink alcohol.

This issue is very important because: Many people suffer: women, mothers, children I took the responsibility because I knew that it was a form of violence

HOW ARE YOU GOING ABOUT ADDRESSING THIS PROBLEM?

Three months later, partners came to finance the amelioration of the existant Football field, the creation of a basket ball field and the construction of school.

WHAT RESULTS HAVE BEEN ACHIEVED?

The practice of Morengy and frequentation of night clubs dimnished considerably. In fact, before, it occured every week-end. Now, it is only once a year.

SUSTAINABILITY AND REPLICATION

This project is sustainable and can be replicated even if there is no financial resources. All we need is the collaboration and the participation of everyone.
It can be replicated everywhere, urban or rural councils.
