IMPACTASSESSMENT: WHATCHANGESAREASSESSED?
Projectsandprogrammesapplyagivensetofresourcestoagivenproblemin ordertoproduce:

Greateragriculturalproduction,better agriculturaltechniques,nutritioneducation todiversifydiets

shorttermand mediumterm outcomes

Increasedagricultural diversity,improved knowledgeonreasonsto diversifydiets.

Impactassessment focusesprimarilyon assessingchangesat theoutcomeleveland attheimpactlevel.

KEYIMPACTQUESTIONS

What haschangedsincetheprogrammebegan? Howmuchchange hasoccurredsincetheprogrammebegan? Who experiencedthechangemostandleast? Howandwhydidthechangeoccurornot? Howmuchofthechange canbeattributedtotheprogrammeitself ratherthantoexternalfactors(toknowifourprogrammeorproject contributedtotheobservedeffectorwastheresomeotherreason)?
