Viola da gamba cases

Inside fitting Each cello case is individually adjusted by us to fit the cello. This work takes about 2 hours and you need to bring the instrument with you (information about measures is unfortunately not sufficient!) Only this way the best protection for the instrument can be guaranteed. (in comparison: even a Mercedes does not protect if the seat belts do not fit properly!) Ideally we carry out this work in our shop in Berlin. In some cases adjustment can also be carried out in your home.

The FIEDLER cello BACK-PACK is an ideal supplement to the ACCORD cello case! It does not only offer unbeatable comfort, but also serves several functions: the padded part of the straps can be used as cushion. The lower parts of the strap system can also be used as end pin-holder.

Tip: for highly vaulted cellos, cellos with wide lower edges and extremely long cellos you need the Montagnana. For safety reasons we recommend only the Montagnana model for use as a flight case.

ACCORD ultralight 2.3 kilos The lightest cello case in the worldlighter than a gig bag! (slightly more flexible that the ACCORD standard) Our recommendation: for those to whom every gram is too much, and those who are patient when it comes to closing the case.

ACCORD robust 3.5 kilos Two extra layers of carbon reinforced material and Kevlar-tissue make this case twice as strong! Our estimate: around the bridge the case would withstand 80 kilos. Our recommendation: for more valuable instruments or for more heavy-duty use, e.g. cycling.

Colours
Full varnish White, silver metallic, bordeaux red, ferrari red, dark blue, azure blue. Please note that the colour white offers the best protection against overheating! White is also the colour least susceptible to scratches, since a white primer coat is always used. You find our current range of colours at www.cellofiedler.de.

Carbon-fibre texture design Available in: green, blue, red texture, red and orange, yellow. This particular design developed by ACCORD leaves the structure of the carbon-fibre tissue visible. So no two cases look the same. The ACCORD texture colours have a clear varnish and are quite insensitive to scratches because of their irregular structure. ACCORD standard 2.8 kilos Still has an optimal weight and is as solid as any standard cello case. Our estimate: around the bridge the case would withstand 40 kilos. Our recommendation: the ideal case for every day use. ACCORD flight 5.0 kilos Even more carbon reinforced material and Kevlar-tissue make the case suitable for the harshest use, e.g. as flightcase. Our estimate: around the bridge the case would withstand 150-200 kilos. Our recommendation: the ideal case for frequent flyers.
