Arundel Community Development Services, Inc. is seeking a summer intern to assist in our planning division.

The successful candidate should be a Masters level student studying Urban Planning, preferably with a concentration in housing and community development. The intern will be tasked with creating a comprehensive revitalization needs assessment and recommendations for strategies to address those needs for the Glen Burnie Area, one of Anne Arundel Countys designated neighborhood revitalization areas. For example, the intern may assist in the application for competitive housing and community development funds, accompany and assist staff during CDBG or HOME monitoring visits at a wide range of project and program sites, sit in on Regional Fair Housing and Sustainable Communities Initiative meetings and attend regular staff meetings where the day to day housing program administration decisions occur.
