Job Title : Football Development Officer (Inclusion) Part time (21 hours)

JOB SUMMARY
Reports: To the County Development Manager Via quarterly reports

Job Purpose: To support the delivery of the National Game Strategy in the CFA in partnership with key stakeholders Jobs Reporting Into The Job Holder: None Key Skills and Experience Required: Essential Key Skills And Experience Required: Desirable Knowledge of the structure and organisations within football FA Generic Tutor Training Knowledge of relevant funding agencies An understanding of the FA National Disability Strategy and disability impairments An understanding of the barriers to participation faced by disadvantaged groups i.e. ethnic minorities, disabled people and those from disadvantaged areas

Graduate / Graduate calibre Experience of inclusive sports / inclusive football development A knowledge of current strategies, national initiatives and issues in relation to football development Ability to work strategically with partner organisations to deliver programmes and courses Ability to work as part of a team and also to demonstrate the use of individual initiative Goal setting Excellent communication and presentation skills Experience of report writing, ability to use emails and Microsoft Office including Word and Excel Monitoring and evaluation Demonstration of equality in action Driving licence

JOB SUMMARY

Key Responsibilities: Growth and Retention Develop programmes to sustain and grow and retain the number of disabiled people and under-represented groups playing football Develop positive intervention to raise awareness and increase participation for disability and under-represented groups. Map teams and leagues, and develop and invest in gaps in provision. Encourage the retention of players aged 14-16 and 16-18 by raising standards and focusing on those periods of time when players are most likely to drop out ( pressure points) and providing more flexible formats of football.

Major Objectives:

FA National Game Strategy support the delivery of the Lincolnshire FA County Plan, specifically the development of inclusive football.

Support and build links between schools, colleges, universities and FA Charter Standard Clubs in relation to underrepresented groups. Deliver a clubs services programme providing a range of training and support services to enable inclusive football to be delivered Provide a high quality introduction to football within schools. To include: Club Links programmes, volunteering and young leadership programmes and supporting the implementation of the competitions framework.

Raise Standards and improve behaviour Support the delivery of the FA Charter Standard Programme Support the Implementation of the FA Charter Standard League Programme Support the development of a network of high quality FA Charter Standard Clubs Support the delivery of the FA Respect Programme Better players: Support, resource and monitor the player pathways for people with a disability.

Set targets for under-represented groups and implement programmes to assist players to progress through the player pathway Coordiante and administer the County Player Development Centre and football element of Playground to Podium/England Ready Days

JOB SUMMARY

Running the game effectively:

Coordinate and support the delivery of the Lincolnshire Disability Steering Group. Development and implementation of the Lincolnshire FA plan for Disability Sport Implement Equality across the County FA organisation
Support the development of the county plan on an annual basis. Implement the monitoring and evaluation framework that will support the delivery of the County Plan Produce annual work programme, key objectives and performance indicators in relation to all aspects of the plan and submit quarterly reports.

Workforce: Support the recruitment,retention and development of volunteers from disabled and underrpepresented groups Co-ordinate a Coach Education Programme to support training for coaches working with players with disabilities and those players who have disabilities who wish to become coaches

Facilities: Support clubs and community groups to access grants from the Football Foundation and other sources. Support applicants to develop football development plans for bids to the Football Foundation and other funding bodies. Marketing PR and Communications: Support grass roots clubs to promote the game Support the delivery of targeted campaigns Positively raise the profile and the perception of the County FA in leading and developing grass roots football

Lincolnshire County Football Association County FA Football Development Officer (Inclusion) The Lincolnshire Football Association is looking to appoint a part time (21 hours) Football Development Officer (Inclusion). This position reports to the County Development Manager and is responsible for developing inclusive football across Lincolnshire in line with the National Game Strategy. The role encompasses the following areas: Coordinate and support the delivery of the Lincolnshire Disability Steering Group. Running the Game Establishing effective playing structures for disabled people and securing investment into disability football Workforce Develop a grassroots volunteer workforce including coaches, referees, administrators and club welfare officers. Facilities and Investment - Support community groups to access grants from the Football Foundation and other sources. You need to be passionate about, and committed to, the development of football at a local level. You must be able to work under pressure, handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines. In addition you must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to positively influence at all levels, have a proven track record of managing staff.
