Knights helmet

Pull together and overlap the back two side aps of the template. Staple securely.

This activity kit contains:
1. Make and do activity steps 1 - 6 2. Six template pages Visit http://play.powerhousemuseum.com to download any missing elements.

Pull the top ap over and staple it rmly to the other aps.

Turn the helmet around and repeat steps 1 and 2 for the front aps.

Attach the nose, brow and face plates together by stapling them once through the middle.

Things you need:


a large sheet of metallic cardboard a smaller sheet of coloured cardboard stapler glue scissors

Staple the face plates to the helmet: Top and bottom on each side, at both sides of the forehead and through the centre of the nose piece. Cut out decorations from the templates. Using glue, cover any visible staples with the diamond shapes, and attach other decorative elements to the helmet.

Template 1
Knights helmet: 1. Print two copies of templates 1 and 2. 2. Cut out the templates and stick together, matching A-A, B-B and C-C. 3. Your nished template should look like the picture below. 4. Use this as a template to cut out your helmet shape from the metallic cardboard.
