French paper dolls - 1916 - Plate 4

Print out your doll and costumes. Roughly cut out each item from the sheet individually.

This activity kit contains:
1. Make and do activity steps 1 - 6 2. Eight template pages Visit http://play.powerhousemuseum.com to download any missing elements.

Match up the two sides of each costume and each side of the doll.

For the doll: Using stick glue, stick the front and back of the doll to light cardboard. Then cut it out each piece carefully.

Lightly score the BACK of each peice along the fold line and fold forward to create a stand. Stick the peices back to back and trim to neaten.

Things you need:

scissors stanley knife ( optional - for adults only please ) stick glue light cardboard template printouts ruler

For the costumes: Cut out the front and back of each side of the costume. Fold each tab and then apply glue to each tab. Stick it to the back of its other half. Slip the costume onto the doll. Perhaps youd like to print out the doll 4 times to display all 4 costumes at once like we have done in our photo.
