CONDITIONAL SENTENCES

The three principal conditional sentences patterns are : Type 1 : They will come if you call them 1. Main clause (Simple future tense) They will come 2. If clause (Simple present tense) if you call them There is no fact in this type of sentence. Something will happen after fulfilling a certain condition. Type 2 : They would come if you called them 1. Main clause (Past Future Tense) They would come 2. If clause (Simple Past Tense) if you called them Fact (Simple Present Tense) : They dont come because you dont call them Type 3 : They would have come if you had called them 1. Main clause (Future Perfect Tense ) They would have come 2. If clause (Past Perfect Tense) you had called them Fact : (Simple Past Tense) They didnt come because you didnt call them
