TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN Bulletin Nbr: 210-2486 Date:...........September 2004 Market: all New routing of belt circuit Cars affected Saab 9-5 M98- with engine alternative B205 and B235 Background The centre tensioning roller of the belt circuit has been removed on cars from and including Vehicle Identification Number 43505872. This means that the belt for cars from and including the above Vehicle Identification Number is shorter than the old one. The old belt has been discontinued and when replacing the belt the shorter belt must also be used on other model years. This information has been introduced into WIS from M05. Procedure For belt replacement, see the illustration for the new belt circuit routing. In connection with belt replacement the upper tensioning roller must be removed. New version:
