Are you our next Community Investment Consultant? We are currently seeking a Community Investment Consultant for our Plymouth, MN location. The Community Investment Associate will manage community investment efforts by implementing global priorities on corporate citizenship, social responsibility and employee engagement. Responsibilities will include collaborating across the company on community investment initiatives, developing relationships with non-profit partners, recommending potential partner opportunities, developing and implementing processes for new grant administration system, manage committee and Board communication systems, leading communications projects across internal and external stakeholders, and executing employee engagement activities. What will you do? Grant Administration: Implement with Manager, The Mosaic Company Foundation various local and global community investments; collaborate across the company on community investment initiatives with various business units and departments; develop and oversee processes with Mosaics grant administration system; execute grant agreements and payments with organizations that receive grants; analyze data on community investments to ensure delivery of internal outcomes and metrics; assess and recommend potential nonprofit partners and community Investment opportunities; occasionally assist with site visits and events. Committee and Board Administration: Develop meeting materials for the Global Agricultural Development Committee, Corporate Community Investment Board and The Mosaic Company Foundation Board; implement communication plans with board and committee members; facilitate execution of approvals. Community Investment Communications: Develop internal and external communications plans with community investment partners and Public Affairs staff; create reports and develop presentations as needed; produce and oversee community investment project plans for programs and events; coordinate planning of community investment events, press conferences and various meetings.

Employee engagement/volunteerism events: Execute various opportunities to engage employees in partner events; track volunteer participation at events; develop events with partners and other team members; schedule presentations on community investments. Other job duties and projects as assigned.

What do you need for this role? Bachelors Degree required, major in public policy, business, communications, public relations, liberal arts or related discipline. 5+ years of experience in grant making, development, program management, public policy, social responsibility, business analysis, community relations, the nonprofit sector and/or related fields. Demonstrated project management success. Familiarity with foundations, corporate giving and related giving trends is preferable. Experience working with NGOs, community decision makers, and opinion leaders is desired. Knowledge of global food security issues and development is preferred. A second language is also a plus. Pre-existing relationships are helpful. Intermediate-advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office suite. Previous document management system and database management experience is required. Internet research and data analysis skills. Strong verbal, written and listening communication skills, including excellent presentation, facilitation and listening skills. Strong teamwork, interpersonal and relationship building skills. Uncompromising ethics and integrity, including the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information. Ability to create effective partnerships at all levels of the organization and with internal and external stakeholders. May be required to work various events in the evenings and on weekends Occasional travel required. Must be authorized to work in the United States.
