Instructions for using the BCC-IEP LS3 Online Interactive Homework

1. Go to: http://years789homeworkgateway.blogspot.com.

5. You must type your complete class information, your nickname and your shirt number. Then click Start. For example: M35.3 Bomb 33333

6. The Questions page will appear. Follow the instructions


and complete the exercises. You will have 30 minutes to complete the exercises. At the bottom of the page, you will see a timer, showing how much time you have left to finish.

2. Select the assignments for the year and topic you need
to study: Grammar, Vocabulary, Reading, Listening, Speaking or Writing. Instructions for Grammar and Vocabulary

7. When you are finished, click the View Results button


at the bottom of the page.

3. If you click Year 7 Grammar, the Grammar Contents


page will appear.

8. Wait a moment while your results are stored on the


BCC Server. 9. A small window appears, showing that your results have been stored.

4. Then select the unit and week for the exercises you
need to study. For Grammar, Vocabulary and Reading Exercises, the Sign-in page will appear.

10. When you close this window, you should print the page, and take it to class so the teacher can go over it with you, explain any mistakes, or answer any questions you have.

Instructions for Reading Exercises 11. Navigate to the Reading Contents page the same way you would for Grammar or Vocabulary.

If the window is blank, click the word Comments to make the text box for comments to appear. 17. On the top line, give the same information that is on the label on your student book, except type is all as a single line.

Open the Reading Text for the year level you need to study. The text will appear in a separate window (so that you can return to the earlier window to open the exercises). Select the chapter your teacher assigned for you to read.

For example: M36.3 T. David Teerameth Nimitchuchai Bomb 33333 18. Fill the text box with the text you were assigned to write. 19. On the bottom line, give the same information that is on the label on your student book, except type is all as a single line. For example, repeat: M36.3 T. David Teerameth Nimitchuchai Bomb 33333 20. For Comment as: select Anonymous 21. Click the Publish button. Your text should appear soon.

Go back to the Reading Contents page and select the unit and week for the exercises you need to study. From there, all the instructions will be the same as for Grammar and Vocabulary.

Instructions for Writing 14. Navigate to the Writing Contents page the same way you would for Grammar, Vocabulary or Reading. 15. Also open the Class Writing Blog. Your teacher will give you the Web address for the class blog. For example: http://ls3t2alpha.blogspot.com .

22. You may also want to experiment with the Rough Draft Creator. It will help you arrange words as parts of speech according to sentence patterns as a paragraph. It will generate a text window of your writing that you can copy and paste into the class blog. Ask your teacher to show this to you.
