KUDOS TO CANDIDATES IN ST. CHARLES COUNTY by Anita Foelsch (MOPP St. Charles County Coordinator)
I dont know if it is a record, but it sure feels like one!! 59 NEW people have filed for township chairmen/women positions in St. Charles County and 21 incumbents for a total of 80 people. Only 4 Townships will have no competition. This is really great, because the Central Committee will have a real chance to reflect the wishes of its constituents. For the first time, many townships will actually show up on the ballot, alerting many voters that these positions actually exist! I give a big bravo to all of these Candidates.

ABOUT SCS/SJR 51 by Frieda Keough

SCS/SJR 51 - This constitutional amendment, if approved by the voters, would modify the composition of the Appellate Judicial Commission and the selection process for judges to the Supreme Court and the Court of Appeals. This act increases the number of individuals that the Appellate Judicial Commission nominates for vacancies in the Supreme Court or Court of Appeals from three to four. Currently, the Appellate Judicial Commission consists of seven members as follows: one Supreme Court judge, a member of the bar from each appellate district elected by members of the bar in that district, and a non-bar member citizen from each appellate district appointed by the Governor. This act replaces the judge member of the commission with an additional member appointed by the Governor. Members appointed by the Governor no longer must be non-bar members. The Governor will appoint one member from each appellate district and one from the state at large. The appointed members will serve terms of four years. Their terms will be staggered so that a Governor will appoint two when taking office and two during the middle of his or her term. The Supreme Court will appoint a former Supreme Court or Court of Appeals judge to serve as a nonvoting member of the commission. The former judge cannot have been removed for cause or failed to be retained in a retention election. The changes to the Appellate Judicial Commission will take effect on January 15, 2013. If this is approved by the voters, the governor will be accountable for the judges appointed, not a faceless group of lawyers.

IF YOURE RUNNING FOR A CENTRAL COMMITTEE POSITION

As the Missouri Precinct Project, our main focus has been to promote that individuals get involved on the local level and one of the most important ways to get involved is in your countys central committee by becoming a committee person in your local Precinct or Township. Many other groups have supported this message as well. It is very encouraging to find out how many individuals have stepped up and filed for precinct or township committeeman/women across the state in this election cycle. Many individuals across the state have heard the call to get involved and run for committee positions (Precinct Captains/Township Committee people/Ward President/Central Committee officials). Many of these individuals have never run for anything in their lives. In some cases, the new people have gotten themselves appointed prior to the filing deadline and might not have to run a campaignin some cases you might be running for the position unopposed and in other cases you might have several candidates running. But in any caseyou might be asking yourselfNow what?! Well, we've put some notes together as to how you might want to approach your upcoming election: Design/create a letter/flier about why you have taken this step and why you think you would be the right candidate for this position, including your vision as to what you think this position represents and why it is important to become part of the Republican Party at the grassroots level. Ask a trusted friend, relative or business associate to help you with this. Include a picture of yourself, as well as some background information about your family, your job, your interests. * Think about your message and be prepared to speak about it on the fly as you meet people and want to promote yourself. * In your comments always say something positive about yourself and know some tidbit about your opponent. * Have this letter printed professionally, in color if possible. Don't print too many as you start out because you might need to make changes. * Take this wherever you go and distribute to as many people as possible. * Post your flier in as many public places/bulletin boards as possible. * Go to your local election office and ask for a map of your Precinct or Township and ask them for a list of all REGISTERED voters in this area. Generally, a list of data will cost approximately $45.00. The same is true for a map. Note: Be aware, that the list of registered voters does include Democrats and Republicans. * You can also ask your current Central Committee Chairman for a printout of the VoterVault or to get access to VoterVault. This is a database maintained by the Republican party of all people that have voted in the last four elections and it will tell you the party affiliation of the people on this list. * Once you have either one of the above-mentioned lists, you can mail your letter/flier to all the people on that list asking them for your vote. * Through your local papers and Meetup groups find out any events in your area, like picnics, church festivals, etc. Go there and distribute your material and try to talk to the people. * If you belong to a church, try to talk to the congregation at an appropriate time. * Go to your local city hall or municipality meeting and announce during the public comment section that you are running for the position of Republican Committeeman/women and distribute your flier. Note: We have recently made available our latest handbook, MOPP Precinct Project 101 that explains the importance of the precinct/committee positions and many how-tos as well. This handbook can be downloaded for FREE by going to the MOPP website at www.moprecinctproject.org, click on Training, then Training Materials and you will see it listed. You can also order a hard copy by sending a request to MOPP at missouriprecinctproject@gmail.com. There is a cost of $5.00 for a hard copy to cover printing/mailing costs.

About True The Vote

Unfortunately, Americans have lost faith in the integrity of our nation's election results and fraud and law-breaking has become all too common in our electoral system. We hope to change that perception. True the Vote is a citizen-led effort to restore truth, faith, and integrity to our elections.

Mission Statement
True the Vote is an initiative developed by citizens for citizens, meant to inspire and equip volunteers for involvement at every stage of our electoral process. We promote ideas that actively protect the rights of legitimate voters, regardless of their political party affiliation. We are working to restore integrity to the American system of electing its leaders. With True the Vote, we have, "deconstructed the entire process, focusing on educating voters, examining the registry, recruiting, training and mobilizing election workers and poll watchers, training how to collect data all along the way, then use the data to shape government action and legislative agendas to support desperately needed election code reform." Our government was built upon the belief that election results represent the true will of the people and our election processes were always intended to be supported by citizen volunteers. We are helping stop corruption where it can start at the polls.

Our initiatives include:

Mobilizing and training volunteers who are willing to work as election monitors Aggressively pursuing fraud reports to ensure prosecution when appropriate Providing a support system for our volunteers that includes live and online training, quick reference guides, a call bank to phone in problem reports, information on videotaping at polling places, and security as necessary Creating documentaries and instructional videos for use in recruiting and training Raising awareness of the problem through strategic outreach efforts including advertising, social networking, media relations, and relational marketing Voter registration programs and efforts to validate existing registration lists, including the use of pattern recognition software to detect problem areas

Who is True The Vote?

Based in Houston, Texas and headed by Catherine Engelbrecht (President), True The Vote is staffed by volunteers all across the country. Essentially, True The Vote is you and me. Every day Americans interested in the integrity of the elections in the home district.

Please watch the short video linked below to learn more about True The Vote and then go to their website and register to be a volunteer. There is no obligation to stay involved long-term, but we can help advance Missouri's voter data to the front of the line by increasing the number of Missourians registered at True the vote (only 19 states are currently online). By registering, you will also receive an invitation to attend their next online orientation so you can decide if and how you want to be involved going forward. Every Poll Observer needs this training! Below are 4 action items you can take: 1. 2. 3. 4. Who Counts in 2012? A Message from True the Vote

How are our votes really counted? And who really counts them? Recently, reports have surfaced about the purchase of SOE, a Tampa FL based vote tabulation company, by SCYTL, an international vote tabulation company, based in Barcelona, Spain. So. Now what? We at True the Vote believe that the best safeguard against any potential problems in our elections is an active, organized, educated citizenry who are willing to take personal responsibility, stand in whatever gaps in our electoral system exist, and work to improve them. Now is not the time for panic. Let's get some answers, figure out what's going on, then spread the word. We are asking Congress and the FEC to address what, if any, role they had in approving the SCYTL/SOE purchase and what the impact will be, if any, to online military vote processing. Here's how you can help:

1. Contact your Secretary of State and ask them to provide a statement on how votes are tabulated and reported in your state and if SCYTL/SOE is involved at any point in the process. You can contact your Secretary of State here. Please email us the responses you receive, we will post them at www.truethevote.org. You can email us here. Here are the Secretary of State responses received thus far: TEXAS, ARIZONA, ALASKA, MISSOURI, ALABAMA, OHIO, WASHINGTON 2. Volunteer to help True the Vote. Commit to get involved, to volunteer at the polls, to record the final vote tallies at the polls where you work, to track those tallies, make sure they are being accurately reported, and be prepared to take meaningful and swift action if breaches are found to exist. We won't change the electoral process until we are willing to roll up our sleeves and take responsibility for it. Sustained responsibility. 3. Never forget, we are not victims. Victims have no options. We do. Though stories like this will shake us up, we must remain resolved to keep level heads, acknowledge real problems when they exist, work towards solutions, and not get caught up in rumor or manufactured hype. The days ahead will test the mettle of us all. But see victory, not defeat.

The Lefts National Vote Fraud Strategy Exposed

Posted By James Simpson On May 7, 2012

reprinted from: http://www.aim.org/special-report/the-lefts-national-vote-fraud-strategy-exposed/print/

This report reveals the Lefts vote fraud strategy for the 2012 elections. Like a KGB operation, it is thorough, multi-faceted and redundant. It has overt and covert, illegal and legal elements, the latter of which are designed, at least in part, to facilitate illegal activities later. It is a deliberate, premeditated, comprehensive plan to win the 2012 presidential election at all costs, and is in keeping with the organizational methods, associations and ethics of the Community-Organizer-in-Chief, Barack Obama.

The Left seeks fundamental structural change to our entire form of government. In keeping with their amoral, means-justifies-ends philosophy, they will register any voters, dead or alive, legal or illegal, who will then vote as many times as possible, in order to establish a permanent progressive majority [1]. As two New York Democrats recently caught in a vote fraud scandal told [2] police, voter fraud is an accepted way of winning elections

Low income individuals are the perfect dupes for this strategy. An expanding welfare state makes them increasingly dependent on government benefits, a development that guarantees their vote for liberal-left candidates. At the same time, people with marginal attachment to society may be less inclined to report illegal activity at the pollsor actually participate. The victim narrative promoted in popular culture and press may even encourage such behavior. Meanwhile, a growing tax burden and public debt suck private enterprise drypushing ever more people onto the dole.

Politicians of both parties are not above engaging in vote fraud. But this kind of corruption is relegated to individual campaigns or areas where corrupt political establishments have been able to develop unchallenged. It is not a systematic component of overall national strategy, as it is with the Left.

This strategy has been under development for decades. They have constructed an entire industry devoted to this task and pursue a multifaceted strategy to accomplish it:

1. Swamp election officials with overwhelming numbers of registrations at the last possible minute, a huge proportion of which are deliberately fraudulent, in order to create systematic chaos. This accomplishes numerous goals:

Makes verification of registrations difficult, given the small size and limited budgets of state and local election offices. Provides multiple opportunities for vote fraud. Throws the entire voting process into question, providing pretext for lawsuits where concessions may be obtained from election officials. When election officials challenge registrations, they are accused of voter suppression. This in turn serves complementary goals:

o o

Charge of voter suppression reinforces the Lefts narrative about America as an oppressive, racist country. Publicity and lawsuits intimidate election officials, who settle on terms favorable to the Left.

2. Activists sue state authorities for voter suppression, creating further chaos and pressuring them to become de facto taxpayer-funded voter registration operations;

3. Eric Holders Justice Department tacitly supports voter intimidation tactics, sues states and backs private lawsuits, and resists reform as voter suppression.

4. Leftist echo chamber discredits allegations of vote fraud, supports suppression theme, and promotes advantageous legislation.

The ultimate goal is a systematized, taxpayer-funded voting machinery that will guarantee maximum participation from the Lefts voting demographic while undermining the ability to manage elections and prevent fraud.

The ACORN Swamping Method

The Lefts National Vote Fraud Strategy Exposed (cont)

Key to understanding the Lefts vote-fraud strategy is the community organizing group ACORN [4] and especially vote fraud [5].
[3]

. ACORN has become synonymous with corruption, complicity

[4]

in the subprime mortgage crisis

ACORN and its voter registration arm, Project Vote [6], hire marginal and unskilled workers at very low rates and use incentive bonuses or quotas to encourage them to collect as many voter registrations as possible [7]. The resulting flood of registrations are fraught with duplicates, errors and omissions, and a large number are overtly fraudulent, including names like Donald Duck, Mickey Mouse, Tony Romo of the Dallas Cowboys [8], etc. [9][2] [10] According to Matthew Vadum [11], the senior editor at Capital Research Center, a total of 400,000 bogus ACORN registrations were thrown out in 2008 alone. ACORN was supposedly disbanded in 2010 but resurrected itself under a slew of new names. Former ACORN President Bertha Lewis bragged [12] that they created 18 bulletproof communityorganizing Frankensteins These are reproduced in the table below. Most of these groups occupy former ACORN offices, many with the same staff. ACORN is directly connected to Obama and the Democratic Party. Counsel to The Advance Group, a strategic planning company, is Michael Gaspard [13], Patrick Gaspards [14] brother. Patrick is currently the DNCs executive director and President Obamas former political director. He has worked for ACORN, the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) and the Working Families Party, a descendant of the ACORN-founded New Party which Barack Obama joined in 1996 [14]. Obama has bragged of fighting alongside ACORN [15] on issues you care about my entire career. ACORNs former deputy regional director, Amy Busefink was convicted [16]in 2010 of vote fraud stemming from a 2008 Nevada case [9]. Judicial Watch found that, while under criminal indictment in Nevada [Busefink] managed an online program for Project Votes 2010 Colorado campaign, the ultimate goal of which is to allow people without a drivers license or state identification to register to vote online. Busefink is now national field director [17] for Project Vote.

A MESSAGE FROM

NEWS FROM THE TRENCHES FLORIDA

Champion Tom Coutre and his wife helped set up 25 Voter Registration Drives in 25 different churches in Sumter, Marion, and Lake Counties, prior to Florida's Presidential Primary (PPP). With the help of volunteers from the churches, they distributed about 2,000 voter registration forms. Tom reported that the churches with the highest rate of success did these two things: 1. The Pastors played the "Champion the Vote" video at their services, and according to Tom, people were shocked by the statistics in the video. The Pastors said something like this from the pulpit:"If you are not registered to vote, or fail to vote, you are not doing your duty as a Christian or as an American citizen." They then directed the congregation to pick up a voter registration form and a voter guide after the service. Tom said that, in the end, registering new voters may not have been the most important result of the effort. Tom believes that the real importance of the drives was that they raised awareness of the power of the primary. He reported that Sumter County, Florida had the highest percentage turnout for the PPP. While he does not attribute this directly to the voter registration efforts, the Supervisor of Elections said that during the drives, they experienced an unusual number of new voter registrations in which voters changed their party affiliation. Let us know what you're doing to champion the vote in your community and beyond! Blessings, The Champion the Vote Team Making a Difference One by One, Multiplied Across the Nation

2.

NOTE: Elections can be won or lost by one votewe need to outnumber them! Every vote is going to count in the upcoming primaries and general elections. We need to get every conservative voter we can registered in order to counterbalance the tactics as enumerated in the above article, The Lefts National Vote Fraud Strategy Exposed. A good place to find conservative voters is in your church. To help make it easier, Champion the Vote has a Church Voter Registration Drive Kit available at this linkhttp://championthevote.com/churchvoterregistrationdrivekit.html .

Analysis: Conservatives used tactics of the left in Wisconsin win

Nick CareyReuters
6:57 p.m. CDT, June 6, 2012

MADISON, Wisconsin (Reuters) - Activists with the conservative Tea Party movement say they owe a lot to their schooling in left-wing community organizing tactics for the historic Republican victory over the Democrats and their union allies in the Wisconsin recall election. While the Democrats said huge campaign spending by conservatives supporters of Republican Scott Walker allowed him on Tuesday to become the first governor in U.S. history to survive a recall election, the Republicans point to their grassroots, get-out-the-vote work as more important. "Advertising can only do so much," said Ned Ryun, head of the national conservative group American Majority, whose sister group American Majority Action worked closely with Wisconsin activists. "But talking to someone face to face is a game changer." Combine that personal contact with energizing a mass movement of door knockers and the latest phone software technology to track voters and you have many of the ingredients for the victory, they say. The conservative activists have literally taken a page out of a left-wing radical's guide to organizing - as many have read the late Saul Alinsky's "Rules for Radicals." Born in 1909 in Chicago, Alinsky - who died in 1972 - began his organizing career in the city's poor Back of the Yards district and is widely considered the founder of modern community organizing. "There was no manual for organizing on the right, so we adapted it to the conservative cause," said Brown, of We the People of the Republic, a Tea Party group based in Madison, Wisconsin. "The left has been good at it for 100 years, so what better place to start?" Labor unions and liberal activists forced the recall election against Walker because of his successful effort last year to curb the collective bargaining powers of public sector workers in the Midwestern U.S. state famous for its beer, cheese and Harley-Davidsonmotorcycles. The unions, with a reputation for excelling at grass-roots organizing, not only failed to oust Walker - but he beat his Democratic challenger, Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett, by an even bigger margin than his 2010 gubernatorial victory. Out-of-state conservatives flooded Wisconsin with tens of millions of dollars in campaign cash in an election seen as a barometer of the American political mood ahead of the November 6 presidential election. Walker outspend Barrett by more than 7-to-1. Leading U.S. conservative donors made donations to boost Walker. Luke Hilgemann, Wisconsin state director of Americans for Prosperity, which is backed by conservative billionaire brothers David and Charles Koch, said the group coordinated a network of some 100,000 local activists. Most of their efforts centered on 17 key counties. Money alone doesn't win elections. In the three weeks before the election, Walker benefited from a disciplined get-out-the-vote drive mounted by people associated with the Tea Party movement, which reviles President Barack Obama. Wisconsin could be a key battleground state in the November 6 election as Obama seeks re-election against Republican Mitt Romney. A lot of the campaign cash bankrolled a wave of pro-Walker advertising. Exit polls taken on Tuesday, however, indicated the ads may not have been a decisive factor; nearly 90 percent of voters say they chose their candidate before the ad barrage. "Not only is the Tea Party alive and kicking, those guys ran a great get-out-the-vote campaign," said Ford O'Connell, a Republican strategist and chairman of the CivicForum PAC political group. "They have given away the secret recipe for what could win the election for Mitt Romney." "This is a paradigm shift," added Matt Kibbe, president of FreedomWorks, a conservative group chaired by former Republican House of Representatives Majority leader Dick Armey that provides training and resources to Tea Party activists. "If the grassroots embrace a cause, they make all the difference."

Analysis: Conservatives used tactics of the left in Wisconsin win (cont.)

UNION FAULTS Analysts said Democrats and unions made fundamental mistakes in Wisconsin. Instead of uniting behind one candidate to challenge Walker, Democrats waged a divisive primary and most unions did not back the eventual winner Tom Barrett, who has had his own disputes with unions as mayor of Milwaukee. The Democrats lost valuable time and money while Walker was traveling the country collecting millions of dollars to back his election effort. They also may have miscalculated in choosing Barrett, who previously had lost to Walker in 2010. "If they are going to recall a governor, it hardly makes sense to try to challenge him with a candidate who lost against him last time," said Marick Masters, a professor of business and director of labor studies at Wayne State University in Detroit. On Wednesday, top labor leaders such as AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka and Teamsters General President Jim Hoffa were not acknowledging any mistakes publicly and dismissed the idea that events in Wisconsin had a broad implications for the labor movement's future. "Walker needed every last dime and every last divisive TV ad to maintain a weakened hold on his office," Trumka said. Success in Wisconsin this year came with the aid of technology such as a new get-out-the-vote app called Gravity that American Majority Action provided free to Tea Party activists, as conservatives targeted like-minded voters. Prior to the election, Tea Party activists reported encountering voters who backed Walker but would be out of state on the day of the election. So activists helped them fill out absentee ballots. "We would have lost those votes if we hadn't showed up," said Matt Batzel, state director of American Majority Action. "That's what this is all about."

Note: The above article documents how the grassroots played an integral role in the Wisconsin recall. A new get out the vote app called Gravityand groups like American Majority and True the Vote were all part of a unified effort, with many other grassroots organizations, both local and national, to help achieve victory. The sophistication of these programs, coupled with the manpower and passion of the grassroots movement was a winning combination! These same tools and strategies will be showcased at our MOPP Winning in November seminar that will take place on July 14, 2012. We hope you make plans to attend and join us to learn how you can utilize these tools for victory in November.

November Is a Plebiscite On the American Revolution

REPRINTED FROM Tuesday, May 01, 2012

Election Day 2012 will not be a presidential election. It will be a plebiscite. Americans will not only be voting for a president (and a House and a third of the Senate). They will be participating in a plebiscite on the definition of America. If Americans re-elect the Democrat, Barack Obama, they will have announced that America should be like Western European countries -governed by left-wing values. Americans will have decided that America's value system -- "Liberty," "In God We Trust," "E Pluribus Unum" -- should be replaced. The election in November is therefore a plebiscite on the American Revolution. The usual description of presidential elections -- "the most important in our lifetime" -- is true this time. In fact, it may be the most important election since the Civil War, and possibly since America's founding. The left knows what is at stake. And the most left-wing president in American history knows what is at stake. Candidate Obama announced shortly before the 2008 election, "We are five days away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America." He described the left's aim perfectly: to fundamentally transform America. It seeks to replace Liberty, In God We Trust, and E Pluribus Unum. That is what "fundamentally transform" means. In fact, those words are proof that American values and leftist values are fundamentally opposed to one another. The right, on the other hand, seeks to maintain America's values. Conservatives want to improve America, but, as its name implies, conservatism seeks to conserve, not transform. "Liberty" means, first and foremost, limited government -- because bigger government means less individual liberty. "In God We Trust" means that America must be rooted in Creator-based values. There are no inalienable rights if no rights derive from God. And "E Pluribus Unum" means the assumption of an American identity by all citizens regardless of their racial, ethnic or national background. The left seeks to replace Liberty with Equality. Material inequality is the great evil, and if individual liberty needs to be sacrificed to attain equality, so be it. Creator-based values are to be replaced by government-based values. "God-fearing" is to be replaced by "State-fearing." God must be removed from schools and wherever else the left can succeed in doing so. "E Pluribus Unum" is to be replaced by multiculturalism. For leftism, the very words "American identity" conjure up chauvinism, if not fascism. For these reasons, this election is not just a choice between a Democrat and a Republican. It is between Americanism and leftism. This does not mean that left-wing Americans are un-American or unpatriotic -- or that they do not love their country. The conflict between Americanism and leftism is between ideas, not between decent and indecent people. But it is an unfortunate fact of life that decent people can believe in bad ideas. If this were not so, few of the greatest evils would ever have occurred. If this election is indeed a plebiscite on America, Mitt Romney cannot campaign solely, or even primarily, on the state of the economy. First, what if the economy even slightly improves? What happens then to Governor Romney's appeal? Moreover, relying for one's success on the suffering of one's fellow Americans is morally as well as politically perilous. Second, Americans want to vote for more than an economic Mr. Fix-It, as desirable as such a person is. So, too, Mr. Romney should not overly personalize his campaign. He is running against Obama, but Barack Obama is not the biggest issue. The left's desire to transform America is the biggest issue. Barack Obama is to be opposed because he is a man of the left. Mitt Romney and the entire Republican Party need to describe this election as the plebiscite on America that it is. The most urgent task in American life is to make clear, and then repeat as often as possible: leftist values and American values are in conflict. Instead of asking, "Are you better off than you were three years ago?" Every Republican needs to ask, every day, "Do you want to fundamentally transform America?" If they do, Barack Obama is their man. If they don't, Mitt Romney is.

The Missouri Caucuses are completed. A lot of people got involved this year and were very passionate about the various candidates. Not everybody is happy. One even hears that voting for the supposed nominee Mitt Romney is no different than Barack Obama. So why bother to vote. We should all remember that the next President will probably be in a position to nominate up to four Supreme Court justices. So keep this in mind when you make your decisions about who to support: Current age of : Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg - 79 years Stephen Breyer - 73 years Anthony Kennedy - 75 years Antonin Scalia - 76 tears We cannot afford to have a President Obama replace any Supreme Court Justices, but especially not a Antonin Scalia. Especially if we do not have at least 41 Senators that would be willing to stand up and vote no for any Supreme Court nominee that does not have true constitutional credentials. Supposedly, Mitt Romney has appointed a group of individuals to review possible candidates for the Supreme Court. This is encouraging, especially since the man heading this group is Robert Borck, one of the best constitutional jurists this country has ever produced.

Obama's Second Term Transformation Plans By Steve McCann

The 2012 election has often been described as the most pivotal since 1860. This statement is not hyperbole. If Barack Obama is re-elected the United States will never be the same, nor will it be able to re-capture its once lofty status as the most dominant nation in the history of mankind. The overwhelming majority of Americans do not understand that Obama's first term was dedicated to putting in place executive power to enable him and the administration to fulfill the campaign promise of "transforming America " in his second term regardless of which political party controls Congress. That is why his re-election team is virtually ignoring the plight of incumbent or prospective Democratic Party office holders. The most significant accomplishment of Obama's first term is to make Congress irrelevant. Under the myopic and blindly loyal leadership of Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi, the Democrats have succeeded in creating an imperial and, in a second term, a potential dictatorial presidency. During the first two years of the Obama administration when the Democrats overwhelming controlled both Houses of Congress and the media was in an Obama worshipping stupor, a myriad of laws were passed and actions taken which transferred virtually unlimited power to the executive branch. The birth of multi-thousand page laws was not an aberration. This tactic was adopted so the bureaucracy controlled by Obama appointees would have sole discretion in interpreting vaguely written laws and enforcing thousands of pages of regulations they and not Congress would subsequently write. For example, in the 2,700 pages of ObamaCare there are more than 2,500 references to the Secretary of Health and Human Services. There are more than 700 instances when he or she is instructed that they "shall" do something and more than 200 times when they "may" take at their sole discretion some form of regulatory action. On 139 occasions, the law mentions that the "Secretary determines." In essence one person, appointed by and reporting to the president, will be in charge of the health care of 310 million Americans once ObamaCare is fully operational in 2014. The same is true in the 2,319 pages of the Dodd-Frank Financial Reform Act which confers nearly unlimited power on various agencies to control by fiat the nation's financial, banking and investment sectors. The bill also creates new agencies, such as the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, not subject to any oversight by Congress. This overall process was repeated numerous times with other legislation all with the intent of granting unfettered power to the executive branch controlled Barack Obama and his radical associates. Additionally, the Obama administration has, through its unilaterally determined rule making and regulatory powers, created laws out of whole cloth. The Environmental Protection Agency on a near daily basis issues new regulations clearly out of their purview in order to modify and change environmental laws previously passed and to impose a radical green agenda never approved by Congress. The same is true of the Energy and Interior Departments among many others. None of these extra-constitutional actions have been challenged by Congress. The left in America knows this usurpation of power is nearly impossible to reverse unless stopped in its early stages. It is clearly the mindset of this administration and its appointees that Congress is merely a nuisance and can be ignored after they were able to take full advantage of the useful idiots in the Democrat controlled House and Senate in 2009-2010 and the Democrat Senate in the current Congress. Additionally, Barack Obama knows after his re-election a Republican controlled House and Senate will not be able to enact any legislation to roll back the power previously granted to the Executive Branch or usurped by them. His veto will not be overridden as there will always be at least 145 Democratic members of the House or 34 in the Senate in agreement with or intimidated by an administration more than willing to use Chicago style political tactics. The stalemate between the Executive and Legislative Branches will inure to the benefit of Barack Obama and his fellow leftists. The most significant power Congress has is the control of the purse-strings as all spending must be approved by them. However, once re-elected, Barack Obama, as confirmed by his willingness to do or say anything and his unscrupulous re-election tactics, would not only threaten government shutdowns but would deliberately withhold payments to those dependent on government support as a means of intimidating and forcing a Republican controlled Congress to surrender to his demands, thus neutering their ability to control the administration through spending constraints. Further, this administration has shown contempt for the courts by ignoring various court orders, e.g. the Gulf of Mexico oil drilling moratorium, as well as stonewalling subpoenas and requests issued by Congress. The Eric Holder Justice Department has become the epitome of corruption as part of the most dishonest and deceitful administration in American history. In a second term the arrogance of Barack Obama and his minions will become more blatant as he will not have to be concerned with re-election. Who will be there to enforce the rule of law, a Supreme Court ruling or the Constitution? No one. Barack Obama and his fellow-travelers will be unchallenged as they run roughshod over the American people. Many Republicans and conservatives dissatisfied with the prospect of Mitt Romney as the nominee for president are instead focused on re-taking the House and Senate. That goal, while worthy and necessary, is meaningless unless Barack Obama is defeated. The nation is not dealing with a person of character and integrity but someone of single-minded purpose and overwhelming narcissism. Judging by his actions, words and deeds during his first term, he does not intend to work with Congress either Republican or Democrat in his second term but rather to force his radical agenda on the American people through the power he has usurped or been granted. The governmental structure of the United States was set up by the founders in the hope that over the years only those people of high moral character and integrity would assume the reins of power. However, knowing that was not always possible, they dispersed power over three distinct and independent branches as a check on each other.

Obama's Second Term Transformation Plans (cont.)

What they could not imagine is the surrender and abdication of its constitutional duty by the preeminent governmental branch, the Congress, to a chief executive devoid of any character or integrity coupled with a judiciary essentially powerless to enforce the law when the chief executive ignores them Conservatives, Libertarians, the Republican Party and Mitt Romney must come to grips with this moment in time and their historical role in denying Barack Obama and his minions their ultimate goal. All resources must be directed at that end-game and not merely controlling Congress and the various committee chairmanships.

Winning the Youth Vote

Posted by Mindy Reifer 12pc on May 03, 2012 Flag

After clearly indicating their strategic ploys to secure the women vote this election cycle, Democrats are now sharpening their rhetoric aimed at reclaiming the youth vote. President Obama directed his April campaigning towards college students, focusing on college-loan rates and other university-related political issues. Since the 2008 election results were first analyzed, the prominence of the youth vote has weighed heavily on both Democratic and Republican candidates campaign decisions. The popular myth circulating is that for Obamas 2008 win, the youth vote turned out in remarkably unprecedented numbers. And all Obama has to do is continue this pattern to secure his electoral victory. But that might be easier said than done this time around. First, Obama did not in fact grow the youth vote very much and certainly not in unprecedented numbers. What Obama actually did accomplish in 2008 was to turn the youth vote largely away from Republicans, securing a majority of votes from voters aged 18-29. The actual growth of the youth vote, though, was just 1%. Posting on the Washington Posts website on April 24, Chris Cillizza and Aaron Blakeat demonstrate that while political organizations claimed that Obamas election was in part due to a more than 2.2 million youth voter turnout increase, young voters comprised 18 percent of the electorate in 2008, a one-point improvement from their share of the electorate in 2004, 2000 and 1996, but nowhere near the heights they reached in the 1980s. Misrepresentation of Obamas success at the polls led to many dishonest facts being promulgated to bolster the supposed turnout-increasing abilities of our president. Even before the finally tally in 2008, Heather Smith of Rock the Vote (as quoted by Melissa Dahl on MSNBC.com) said, We expected record turnout, and that is what were seeing right now. Hindsight proved that it was not at all a record turnout, certainly not when the 1980 and 1984 Reagan Revolution is considered, but it was a record margin in favor of the Democratic nominee. And this youth vote clobbering likely tilted the election in Obamas favor. Dahl says that young voters preferred Obama over John McCain by 68 percent to 30 percent the highest share of the youth vote obtained by any candidate since exit polls began reporting results by age in 1976, according to CIRCLE, a non-partisan organization. It is not only Obama and Democrats who are going after the youth vote. At the same time that Obama was appealing to his prime target, Romney was giving stump speeches about student loans and college costs. (In pure campaign-mode, Obama demanded that Congress keep student loan rates low, something that Republicans in Congress have also supported!) It remains to be seen if Obama will once again secure the youth vote, or by what margin. This time around, Republicans have a stronger platform to run on: Obamas record. Statistics released by the Republican Study Committee on April 30 show that more than half of recent college graduates are unemployed or underemployed. In fact, 85% of college graduates will be moving back home with their parents, hardly the ideal goal of a college grad. Many of the youngest of 2008s voters have now graduated college, and are finding themselves enveloped in student debt and facing the harsh realities of the Obama recession. And of course the older end of the youth vote have now matured somewhat, witnessing first-hand the destruction Obamas policies have wrought on our economy and foreign image. And it is up to this very demographic to perhaps effect the biggest change in the election outcome this November. But unfortunately, youth voters are still favoring Obama over Romney by a strong margin, strong enough to win him reelection. An April 2012 Washington Post-ABC survey showed Obama leading Romney by 21 points among 18-29-year olds. Romney is correct in assuming he needs to appeal to the youth vote, not just to grow the turnout but more importantly to urge deflections over to the Republicans side, in order to secure the election. Romney needs to focus on the economy, not just student loan rates. He needs to remind young voters that they will need jobs to pay back their loans, no matter how low interest rates remain. And moving back home with Mom and Dad is no way to spend ones first year as a college graduate. America needs to once again be a nation of unique, unprecedented economy opportunity, and a 2012 Reagan revolution is necessary to put the US back on track to prosperity.

The National Popular Vote 11 States Can Decide the Presidential Election
December 9, 2011 By Sara Noble

The elective franchise, if guarded as the ark of our safety, will peaceably dissipate all combinations to subvert a Constitution, dictated by the wisdom, and resting on the will of the people. ~ Thomas Jefferson While Americans are focused on the election, the Progressive wing of the Democratic Party, funded by two eccentric businessmen and a George Soros son, are stealthily orchestrating the decimation of the voting process and states rights through the National Popular Vote Compact (NPV). The NPV is a popular sound bite that will do the opposite of what it is portrayed to do make each Americans vote count. It does not do that because it keeps the electoral college but misuses it. What it actually does is create a forced merger between heavily populated states and less populated states. Currently moving at a rapid pace, the NPV is a state-by-state initiative that will force states to allocate their electoral votes to the winner of the national popular vote, rather than the winner of the popular vote in their state. NPV will greatly reduce the power of most states in that the highly populated states will be able to gain the electoral votes and, in fact, 11 states could decide the Presidential election. California, Texas, New York, Florida, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan, Georgia, North Carolina and New Jersey have 57% of the votes cast in 2008, and together they have 270 electoral votes, the amount necessary to win the election. Do you want these states to decide who is President while other states have no say? Is this what the Founding Fathers wanted? An election based on demographics and geographics? Why is the current structure of the electoral college so important? Our Founding Fathers believed that the state by state disbursed system maintained the sovereignty of the states and disallowed Federalism. The containment of mischief or voter fraud of the ACORN type is contained within states instead of being spread nationally. The electoral college provides balance and firewalls against voter fraud. Do you believe all states should be purple and not red or blue? Then you do NOT want the NPV. Supporters of the NPV claim it will favor Republicans in that there are more underutilized Republican votes than Democratic votes, which I doubt since the heavily populated states are predominantly liberal. Whether this is true or not does not matter.

16

The National Popular Vote 11 States Can Decide the Presidential Election (cont.)
We should not favor one side or the other in the United States of America. The initiative has been approved by half the states necessary to pass it. The states that have approved it equal 70 electoral votes and only 138 are needed for it to pass. It is well on its way to becoming law. NPV circumvents the Constitution by allowing individual states to change the Constitution without an amendment. However, the compact clause of the Constitution does not allow any state to enter into any Agreement or Compact with another State. Liberal states like California could join with Illinois, New York, and another 8 other liberal states forming a super bloc that would give all their electoral votes to the winner, forming the bloc that could take the election. Article V specifically states that the Constitution must be amended, no State, without its Consent, shall be deprived of its equal Suffrage in the Senate. The NPV as structured will immediately take effect without an amendment and it will probably be in time for the 2012 election. NPV has bipartisan support and the opposition should be bipartisan as well. It is not a partisan issue, it is about states rights and the power of each individual guaranteed by the electoral college. NPV will have many unwanted side effects. The states that decide the election will probably be the states that receive the federal dollars because their votes count. They will likely be the only states that candidates will visit. Another problematic side effect reared its ugly head in my own Congressional district on Long Island. Our congressman, Tim Bishop, received most of his funding from New York City and other areas outside Long Island, including as far away as California. NPV will encourage the influx of money from outside the key 11 states. It will be lobbying on steroids. Then there is the nationalization of voter fraud. Some states require proof of citizenship, photo IDs, no IDs, but NPV will eliminate that choice and the containment of fraud that states provide. I personally experienced absentee voter fraud. For example, one woman voted from Canada and used the address of a local middle school. The courts in NY let these votes stand. Even the dead people we found were counted because you only have a few days to prove they are dead, and courts want a death certificate, which is hard to get on hundreds of people in a matter of days. So, in NY, dead people vote. I happen to know of a number of illegal aliens who voted as well. In Kansas, the Democratic primary of Rizzo vs Royster shows the seriousness of voter fraud. A group in support of Rizzo brought in 50 Somali nationals to vote. Rizzo won by one vote. ACORN often mobilizes aliens to vote. In Mississippi, 23 counties had more people registered to vote than were alive. Examples are endless though some would have us believe fraud is not a widespread problem. There is the costly and lengthy litigation which will ensue if NPV passes. Examples are What happens constitutionally, if a state in the NPV doesnt like the candidate they are forced to give their electoral votes to and pulls out of the compact though they are not free to do so? NPV does not meet equal protection under the 14th amendment for the states who do not sign on to the NPV. The compact clause, Article I, suggests it needs congressional approval. Article II delegates power to the states which the NPV overrides. Administratively, a non-qualified person, not even on the ballot, could win; it will force states with solid voting requirements to go with those who allow rampant fraud if they have higher population density; the individuality of states that includes early voter registration, felons voting, voting by mail, et cetera, will dissolve into the requirements of the heavily populated states. Close elections will cause inevitable and lengthy delays. There is even a question of whether some states will be able to vote under the compact.

The National Popular Vote 11 States Can Decide the Presidential Election (cont.)

Litigation will take a long time and could end up leaving the incumbent President in place for months or years. NPV will -

Federalize the vote Destroy state sovereignty in the Presidential election Circumvent the Constitution Disenfranchise voters by giving 11 states the power to decide the election. It will ignite endless litigation Reduce voting to the lowest common denominator Give a handful of states supremacy

NPV is a one size fits all and it forces many states to abandon the voting procedures and policies that make them unique. It focuses on the end results and sacrifices process.

NOTE:
One of our very own Republican Missouri Legislators introduced a bill in the last legislative session in favor of the National Popular Vote and to eliminate the Electoral College. Dwight Scharnhorst (93rd District before re-districting) explained that he did not know that what this bill was about and that is why he introduced it. Unfortunately, Mr.Scharnhorst is now running unopposed in the newly re-districted 88th District.

GETTING INVOLVED IN YOUR PRECINCT

WHY:
Because we believe all politics is local Become involved at the local level to restore conservative values and principles that will then trickle UP to all levels of government MOPP is not the first to utilize this strategy Phyllis Schlafly implemented the precinct strategy to defeat the ERA 30+ years ago We believe that Missouri needed to join the ranks of other states with similar efforts, including Texas, Florida, Pennsylvania, Nevada and Utah. We want to encourage Missourians across the State to work in their own communities and counties to make a difference

WHAT:
MOPPs 4 pronged strategy: 1. Key element (hence the name Missouri Precinct Project): Identify the 40-50% of the unfilled precinct/township committee positions in their county that go unfilled. (many of our members have filed to fill these positions across the state ie., St. Louis County stat, 35 new) 2. Get out the Conservative vote a. MOPP encourages its members to utilize our database (we are in the final stage of determining which program we will be using) to canvass their neighborhood to identify and register conservative voters, educate voters on issues and candidates and get them to the polls on election day. b. MOPP also partners with Champion The Voteencouraging our volunteers to become Champions in the Champion the Vote program to register unregistered Christian voters. (*in Missouri in 2008 there was only a 4000 difference between the 2 presidential candidatesthats a pretty close margin, but yet there are approximately 150,000 unregistered Christians in the State.) Go here to become a Champion http://championthevote.com/headquarters/missouri 3. 4. Encourage becoming a poll worker to help prevent voter fraud. Build and maintain a database in order to form a more effective coalition, united voice for Conservatives across the State

HOW:
Educate/Motivate 1. Precinct training seminar last October partnering with Dallas Tea Party and American Majority 2. Precinct Organizing and Preventing Voter Fraud training (Feb 2012) 3. Caucus Training Seminar 4. Training Manuals --Caucus 101 Handbook (We are very pleased at how many grassroots individuals participated in the recent caucuses, even though they have never been involved before) Note: MOPP will soon release 1) Precinct Training Manual and a 2. Becoming a Poll Worker manual. 5. Newsletter 6. Blast emails 7. Action alerts 8. Presentations to various groups statewide 9. WINNING IN NOVEMBER Seminar.details here http://americanmajority.org/events/st-louis-mo-activist-

training-2/

IN SUMMARY:
If we are ever to get control of our government and change the type of people we get into office and the control that bigmoney currently brings, we must get directly and actively involved at the grassroots level in the two-party system. It is not going to be easy, and it is not going to change overnight. But without this approach, we are simply reshuffling the chairs on the deck of the Titanic. Do we just want the furniture to look better before we crash into the iceberg, or do we want to change the ships course to prevent it from sinking?

Mission Statement
Restore Constitutional principles and conservative values by engaging conservatives in grassroots politics.
