FADE IN:

EXT. - TIMMY’S HOUSE - DAY

CLOSE ON BUSHES

TWO SETS OF EYES, CHESTER AND AJ’S, peer out from between
leaves. The guys are panting and out of breath.

1 CHESTER
Hey… Is the coast clear?

2 AJ
It would appear to be.

3 CHESTER
On three, (ready?) One... two... three!

Chester and AJ hop out. They pause. We hear a WHISTLE.

4 CHESTER
That whistle! I know that--

ANGLE ON: Timmy, whistling through his big, front teeth a second
time and holding a soccer-type BALL. He throws the ball.

5 AJ
It’s Timmy! Look out!

ON CHESTER AND AJ

The soccer-type ball bounces off Chester’s head.

6 CHESTER
OWCH!

7 AJ
(Laughs) Ha! You got nailed!

AJ notices the ball, spinning in the air, hovering next to his head.

8 AJ
Well. This will be unpleasant… oof!

The ball smacks against AJ who gets knocked on top of Chester. The
ball continues to quickly bounce back and forth between their heads.

9 CHESTER AND AJ
OW! THIS IS GREAT! OW! WOO HOO! OW!
The Fairly OddParents: “The Same Game” by Butch Hartman and Steve Marmel Recording Draft 8/11/00 3

TIMMY walks into frame, smiling.

10 TIMMY
81! 82! 83! Ha! It’s 83 to uh... what do you
guys have?

11 AJ
Nothing. Ow!

12 TIMMY
Right! I win!

ANGLE ON COSMO AND WANDA, disguised as Lawn GNOMES.

13 WANDA
Wow! Timmy’s won another game of Timmy
Ball!

14 COSMO
It’s hard to lose at Timmy Ball when your
name’s Timmy and it’s your ball!

15 COSMO (ALT)
That’s the first rule in Timmyball. Timmy wins!

15A WANDA (ALT)

I thought there were no rules in Timmyball?

15B COSMO (ALT)

Well that’s the second rule!

16 CHESTER AND AJ (O.S.)

RUN!!! Ha ha ha ha ha ha.

CUT BACK TO:

EXT. - TIMMY’S HOUSE - DAY

Chester and AJ run from Timmy as he kicks the ball down the street in
hot pursuit. Timmy kicks the ball hard. It flies over Chester and AJ.

17 CHESTER
Ha! You missed! Now we get to play Chester
Ball!

...and flies off screen.

CUT TO:
The Fairly OddParents: “The Same Game” by Butch Hartman and Steve Marmel Recording Draft 8/11/00 4

EXT. - NEIGHBOR’S YARD - SAME TIME

The ball bounces over the fence and lands on the lawn. Timmy starts
to hop over the fence. Panicked, AJ and Chester skitter to a halt.

18 CHESTER AND AJ
No, Timmy! Don’t!

19 TIMMY
What?

19A TIMMY (ALT)

But I’m just gonna get my--

Chester runs up to Timmy and grabs him by the shirt.

20 CHESTER
You can’t go in there! That’s Dr. Bender’s
yard!

21 TIMMY
Yeah, I know. So?

21A TIMMY (ALT)

So?

22 CHESTER
Dude? Didn’t you hear the lightning and weird
music?

23 AJ
And all of a sudden it’s nighttime??

24 AJ
Don’t you understand? He’s a dentist! And
mean! HE’S A MEAN DENTIST!

24A CHESTER
A dentist, Timmy. A mean dentist!

Chester and AJ run away.

WIDEN TO REVEAL THE DENTIST’S HOUSE

Everything is tooth related, BUSHES, TREES, BIRD BATH, MAIL BOX,

etc. Everything reminds us of the joys of the mouth. Cosmo and
Wanda appear as GOPHERS in front of a gigantic TOPIARY TOOTH.

25 WANDA
The Fairly OddParents: “The Same Game” by Butch Hartman and Steve Marmel Recording Draft 8/11/00 5

Wow. Look at the size of this tooth!

26 COSMO
I’m getting bicuspid envy!

27 TIMMY
Hey, my ball!

Timmy sees the ball and takes a step forward. Suddenly, a giant set of
DENTURES snap around his ankle like a bear trap.

28 TIMMY
Ow! (Hey!)

DR. EMIL BENDER, (Read like Gilbert Gottfried) a scowling man with
bright, white teeth, steps into frame.

29 DR. BENDER
Oh, hello! Is this your ball on my lawn? And
your ankle in my trap?

30 TIMMY
Uh... uh...

Bender looks directly at Timmy’s two front teeth.

31 DR. BENDER
Wow! Is that short for “Uh, gosh my teeth are
hideous?”

32 TIMMY
May I please just have my ball back?

33 DR. BENDER
No! Only little boys with perfect teeth like
mine, can have a ball as fun as this… Wooo,
having fun…

33A TIMMY
And who has teeth as good as yours?

33B DR. BENDER

May I present to you and your big, silly teeth,
my son, Wendall… Here ya go, Jr.

He flashes his perfect smile and tosses the ball to his son, WENDALL,
who looks almost exactly like Bender. Wendall flashes his gigantic
toothy smile.

34 DR. BENDER
Like my son, Wendall.
The Fairly OddParents: “The Same Game” by Butch Hartman and Steve Marmel Recording Draft 8/11/00 6

35 WENDALL
Gimme that!
(right at Timmy)
Wow. This is sure a fun ball that’s mine now.

36 TIMMY
I wish this stupid trap was gone.

While the Benders are preoccupied with Timmy’s ball, Cosmo and
Wanda free Timmy’s leg. Timmy stands up to Dr. Bender.

37 TIMMY
Your teeth aren’t so great!

38 DR. BENDER
Well, Bucky, the buck-toothed, tooth boy,
that’s where you’re wrong. Both I and my son
have perfect teeth.

39 WENDALL
My comb has perfect teeth!

40 DR. BENDER
That’s right, Wendall. And even our dog is on
his way to oral perfection.

41 TIMMY
Oh no.

Wendall pulls his DOG into frame -- it’s wearing HEAD GEAR over a
huge set of perfectly white, HUMAN TEETH.

42 MOLAR THE DOG

Yelp!

Bender shoos Timmy off his property.

43 DR. BENDER
Goodbye, Timmy Two Tooth!

44 TIMMY
I have other teeth! They’re just inside my
mouth!

45 DR. BENDER
And those teeth have our pity/sympathy.
C’mon Wendall. Let’s play a game of perfect
teeth ball.
The Fairly OddParents: “The Same Game” by Butch Hartman and Steve Marmel Recording Draft 8/11/00 7

Bender and his kid toss the ball back and forth as Timmy sadly slumps
O.S.

CUT TO:

INT. - TIMMY’S KITCHEN - A LITTLE LATER

DAD, at the table with Timmy, munches on some CELERY. MOM’s

opening the OVEN. Cosmo and Wanda are disguised as salt and
pepper shakers in front of Timmy.

46 WANDA
Aw, cheer up, Timmy! Why don’t you just wish
for another ball?

47 TIMMY
It’s not about the ball. He took my stuff ‘cause
he didn’t like my teeth! I don’t get it!

48 COSMO
What’s not to get? The silly teeth part or the
not-having-the-ball part?

48A COSMO
I’m not agreeing with him, I’m just saying it’s
pretty straight forward.

Timmy grabs the Cosmo salt shaker.

49 TIMMY
Dad? Some salt?

50 DAD
Thanks!

50A DAD (ALT)

Thanks, Son. Good, old, healthy salt.

Dad starts salting his celery with Cosmo.

51 COSMO
Ow! Ooo! Ow! Yow! Owch!

52 MOM
Ready for dinner? I had just enough time when
I got back from work to make my special “Pink
Flamingo” Casserole!
The Fairly OddParents: “The Same Game” by Butch Hartman and Steve Marmel Recording Draft 8/11/00 8

Mom pulls a FLAMINGO SHAPED CASSEROLE out of the oven. But... It’s
Gray.

53 MOM
Ew.

54 DAD
Hey, that casserole’s Gray... T. (great,yeah!)

Mom and Dad laugh at the joke as Timmy rolls his eyes.

55 MOM
Who wants Chinese?

Dad continues salting with Cosmo.

56 COSMO
Ow! OWCH! Yow! Wowtch!

DISSOLVE TO:

INT. - TIMMY’S ROOM - A LITTLE LATER

Timmy sits on his bed and is REALLY miffed.

57 TIMMY
mumble… stupid… mumble… little…
mumble…

He puts his fingers in his mouth to whistle through his teeth, and...

58 TIMMY
(WHISTLES)

Cosmo and Wanda pop into frame. Cosmo has an ICE PACK on his
head.

59 COSMO
You know, your Dad really ought to watch his
sodium intake!

60 TIMMY
I can’t believe I’m being teased because my
teeth are different than his! This is so idiotic!

A SET OF CHATTERING MECHANICAL TEETH flies through the window

with a NOTE attached. It reads “Teeth.”

61 WANDA
The Fairly OddParents: “The Same Game” by Butch Hartman and Steve Marmel Recording Draft 8/11/00 9

No, that’s idiotic.

61A WANDA (ALT)

They’re really not that big, Timmy.

62 TIMMY
(reading)
Teeth.

A SECOND SET OF CHATTERING TEETH flies through, reading:

63 TIMMY
Stupid.

64 WENDALL (V.O.)
You might need to put those in (the correct)
order!

65 TIMMY
I wish somebody could teach that kid and his
Dad a lesson. Hey! You guys could do that,
right?

66 WANDA
Well, sure Timmy!

DA RULES appear. Wanda starts flipping through them.

67 TIMMY
(really excited)
Then I wish...

68 WANDA
-- You just can’t wish him maimed,
injured(beaten) or dead.

Timmy stares blankly. Now what’s he supposed to wish for?

69 TIMMY
Well, maybe they’ll knock it off, eventually...

A THIRD SET OF CHATTERING TEETH bonks off Timmy’s head.

70 TIMMY
Ow! (READING NOTE) Big.

Cosmo starts moving the teeth around.

71 COSMO
It goes “Big” then “Stupid” then “Teeth!”
The Fairly OddParents: “The Same Game” by Butch Hartman and Steve Marmel Recording Draft 8/11/00 10

72 WANDA
Well, It could go “Stupid” “Big” “Teeth.”

73 COSMO
But it sure can’t go Teeth, Big, Stupid...

74 TIMMY
(getting fed up)
You know, he wouldn’t be able to make fun of
my teeth if everybody had the same teeth.

75 COSMO
Sure, but he could make fun of anything. Like
your silly, pink hat!

76 WANDA
It could be pink, silly hat!

77 COSMO
But it sure couldn’t be Hat, Silly...

78 TIMMY
Fine!!! Then I wish everything and everybody
in the world looked exactly the same!

79 WANDA
Are you sure that’s what you want to--

80 TIMMY
Yeah! Me and my big, stupid teeth and my
silly, pink hat want everyone and everything in
the world to look exactly the same!

Cosmo and Wanda look at each other apprehensively, raise their

wands and POOF!

The MAGIC DUST clears to reveal Timmy - who is now a little, GRAY
BLOB, with a little, GRAY HAT, standing in the center of the street, in
front of his GRAY HOUSE.

81 TIMMY
(Hey!) What happened?

Timmy notices his gray self.

82 TIMMY
Hey, I’m a gray blob!
The Fairly OddParents: “The Same Game” by Butch Hartman and Steve Marmel Recording Draft 8/11/00 11

Timmy looks around. We see several other “FORMER PEOPLE” -- also

blobs-- oozing, like slugs, down the street.

83 TIMMY
Ohmygosh! Everybody looks exactly the
same: Gray blobs! I can’t wait to see Bender’s
face when he sees he’s exactly like everyone
else! Right, guys?

83A TIMMY
Cosmo? Wanda? Guys??! Uh, oh.

WIDEN TO REVEAL Timmy’s neighborhood. Every house is the same.

One gray, prefab house after the other. Timmy puts his blobby hand
in his mouth and makes a couple of feeble attempts to whistle, but...

84 TIMMY
I can’t whistle through this blobby mouth!
Cosmo Wanda?

WIDEN TO REVEAL the Planet Earth is all Gray.

85 TIMMY (O.S.)
Where are you?

CUT TO:

EXT. - A LARGE GRAY CITY PARK - A GRAY TIME OF DAY

A BRIGHTLY COLORED FAIRY pops into scene, holding a BOX OF

DONUTS and approaches A GRAY BLOB.

86 FAIRY THREE
Are you Dominic? I have your donuts!

87 GRAY BLOB
No, I’m Susie! I wanted world peace.
Can I have the donuts instead?

Fairy three looks at the donuts.

88 FAIRY THREE
Mmmm.... No.

EXT. - GRAY CITY STREET - A GRAY TIME OF DAY

Cosmo and Wanda speed along, searching for Timmy. They fly up to a
LITTLE GRAY BLOB.

89 COSMO
Are you Timmy?
The Fairly OddParents: “The Same Game” by Butch Hartman and Steve Marmel Recording Draft 8/11/00 12

90 GRAY BLOB
No, I’m Chet.

90A TV WATCHING BLOB

Cool! Black and white!

They move to ANOTHER BLOB.

91 WANDA
Are you Timmy?

92 GRAY BLOB
I’m Dominic. Do you have my donuts?

They move to another blob.

93 COSMO
Are you Timmy?

94 GRAY BLOB
I just told you, I’m Chet.

95 COSMO
I hate this wish! I can’t tell which blob is our
blob!

Fairy Three comes up to Cosmo and Wanda.

96 FAIRY THREE
And I can’t find my kid! I...

Fairy Three starts inflating like a balloon.

97 WANDA
You don’t look so good.

98 FAIRY THREE
Ah! Ah....

The fairy explodes like a brightly colored pinata. The multi-colored

dust falls to the ground in a pile and embarrassed, slinks O.S.

99 COSMO
Oh no! Magical back up! That only happens
when Fairies can’t grant wishes for their kids!

Wanda gives Cosmo a surprised look.

100 COSMO
What? I know stuff!
(to camera)
The Fairly OddParents: “The Same Game” by Butch Hartman and Steve Marmel Recording Draft 8/11/00 13

Don’t know why THAT happened...

CUT TO:

EXT. - FAIRY HEAD QUARTERS / FAIRY WORLD - DAY

The CAMERA PUSHES IN on a MAGICAL BUILDING as Fairy Air Raid

sirens wail.

DISSOLVE TO:

INT. - FAIRY HEADQUARTERS - DAY

ON A HARRIED, FAIRY RECEPTIONIST

101 RECEPTIONIST
Fairy world. Please hold. Fairy world. Please
hold.

WIDER ON ROOM

Different FAIRIES begin popping into scene. Slowly at first, then

rapidly, like Jiffy-Pop popcorn. When the room is full of fairies, Cosmo
and Wanda appear. We should get a feeling of mass confusion.

102 FAIRY WALLA

Hey, watch the wand! Don’t touch my crown!
(Etc.)

103 FAIRY ONE

What happened? I was just granting my kid a
wish for a pony and now I’m here in Fairy
world!

104 FAIRY TWO

I was just granting my kid a wish for a ducky
and now I’m in fairy world!

105 COSMO
That’s weird. We were granting a wish that
everybody in the world looked exactly the
same as everybody else...

EVERYBODY freezes and looks at Cosmo and Wanda.

106 COSMO
...and now we’re in fairy...
The Fairly OddParents: “The Same Game” by Butch Hartman and Steve Marmel Recording Draft 8/11/00 14

(beat; realizing everyone is staring

at them)
... what?

107 WANDA
Was that a bad thing?

108 JORGEN (O.S.)

Yes!

Two GIGANTIC HANDS reach in and grab Cosmo and Wanda by their
collars, pulling them to JORGEN VON STRANGLE.

109 WANDA
It’s Jorgen Von Strangle!

110 COSMO
Right now, he’s doing the Von Strangling part.

111 JORGEN
You two have caused a major, magical
fluctuation in the magic/space continuum flux!

112 WANDA
What’s that mean?

113 JORGEN
Because of you two fairies, everything in the
world now looks exactly the same. None of the
fairies can find their kids. And do you know
what that’s doing to the fairies?

ANGLE ON one fat fairy, getting larger and larger.

114 FAT FAIRY

Ah... ah... AH!! (explody sound)

Poof! The Fairy explodes into CONFETTI like a brightly colored pinata.
The confetti falls to the floor into a pile and the pile, embarrassed,
scoots off frame.

115 WANDA
That?

115A FAIRIES
Mother of-- Oh, the humanity!

116 JORGEN
Yes. HA HA! I mean, poor, little fairy.

117 WANDA
The Fairly OddParents: “The Same Game” by Butch Hartman and Steve Marmel Recording Draft 8/11/00 15

We gotta find Timmy...

(a fairy explodes)
...before all the fairies...
(another one blows up)
...explode!

Cosmo starts cringe.

118 COSMO
Ah... AH... AH!

119 WANDA
Oh no! Cosmo!

120 COSMO
(back to normal)
Just goofin’ with ya, baby! Lets go!

They poof away.

CUT TO:

EXT. - TIMMY’S NEIGHBORHOOD - SAME TIME

Timmy walks around his gray neighborhood. A GRAY BLOB, with a gray
ball, stops Timmy.

121 GRAY BLOB

Hey there. Wanna play some Blob Ball?

The blob tosses the ball to Timmy.

122 TIMMY
I only play Timmy Ball!

123 GRAY BLOB

What’s a Timmy?

The Gray blob exits without his ball.

124 TIMMY
Man, this world reeks!

Timmy angrily “kicks” the ball. It flies over a GRAY FENCE into a GRAY
YARD. Timmy hops over the fence after the ball. He reaches down to
grab it. A GRAY HAND reaches down and grabs the ball before Timmy
can get it.

125 DR. BENDER (O.S.)

The Fairly OddParents: “The Same Game” by Butch Hartman and Steve Marmel Recording Draft 8/11/00 16

Oh, hello! Is this your ball on our lawn? And

your gray on our gray?

Timmy sees Emil and Wendall Bender: Also gray blobs.

126 TIMMY
Hey! Dr. Bender! Wendall! You’re big, gray
blobs just like me! Ha Ha!!!

127 WENDALL
Actually, we’re the grayest and the blobbiest!

128 TIMMY
What? But everyone is exactly alike!

129 BENDER
That’s where you’re wrong, little not-that-gray-
boy. In fact, only blobs as gray and blobby as
we are, can have a gray ball as fun as this.
Now shoo! (Now beat it!)

DISSOLVE TO:

EXT. - ELSEWHERE IN THE GRAY CITY - A LITTLE LATER

130 TIMMY
I can’t believe this! Everybody in the world’s
exactly alike and those creeps still think
they’re better than everyone else!

130A TIMMY
I can’t believe this! Everybody in the world’s
exactly alike and those creeps still find
something to hate about me!

Suddenly, A FAIRY appears. The fairy is expanding.

131 FAIRY FOUR

Are you Priscilla! Please be Priscilla! I need to
grant a - ah-ah-argh- wish!!!

132 TIMMY
Hey, you’re a Fairy Godparent! Do you know
Cosmo and Wanda? Small. Wings. Idiots.
Granted me my stupid wish that made the
world the same?

133 FAIRY FOUR

The Fairly OddParents: “The Same Game” by Butch Hartman and Steve Marmel Recording Draft 8/11/00 17

You’re THAT Timmy? (You!) We’ve got to get

you and Cosmo and Wanda together so Fairies
can find their kids. Argh. Or else!

134 TIMMY
Or else what?

Fairy Four explodes. Brightly colored confetti falls to the ground. The
pile, embarrassed, scoots off frame.

135 FAIRY FOUR

(explody sounds)

136 TIMMY
Oh, That.
(beat)
(I) Gotta get Cosmo and Wanda to find me so I
can unwish this wish! There’s no time to
waste!

Timmy antics back as though he were going to run like the wind and
then... slowly oozes off frame.

CUT TO:

EXT. - A LARGE GRAY CITY - DAY

Cosmo and Wanda fly up to a gray blob.

137 COSMO
Timmy?

138 GRAY BLOB

Chet.

139 WANDA
Timmy?

140 GRAY BLOB

CHET!!!

141 COSMO
(BEAT) Now are you Timmy?

The Chet blob storms (slowly) O.S. Cosmo pauses.

142 COSMO
Oh no!
(He begins to shake)
Magic build up!
The Fairly OddParents: “The Same Game” by Butch Hartman and Steve Marmel Recording Draft 8/11/00 18

143 WANDA
I’m not falling for that one again!

Cosmo explodes into brightly colored confetti. It falls to the ground

around Wanda:

144 COSMO
Hey! It’s raining me!

Wanda makes a DUST BIN and HAND BROOM and sweeps Cosmo up.

145 WANDA
If I explode, we’ll never be able to find Timmy!

DISSOLVE TO:

INT. - TIMMY’S KITCHEN - DAY

Gray Timmy enters and starts tearing through kitchen cabinets and
drawers.

146 TIMMY
I gotta find something that’ll make Cosmo and
Wanda notice me! Gray... Gray... Gray...

Mom, now a gray blob, enters.

147 MOM
What are you looking for, sweetie?

148 TIMMY
Do we have a marker and some paper? I need
to make a poster.

149 MOM
Sure, hon. Right here. (Here ya go.)

Mom opens a drawer and pulls out a GRAY PIECE OF PAPER and a GRAY
MARKER.

150 TIMMY
Yeah. That’s vibrant and noticeable.

Dad Blob enters.

151 DAD
I’m home! And gray! How was your day,
Dear?

152 MOM
The Fairly OddParents: “The Same Game” by Butch Hartman and Steve Marmel Recording Draft 8/11/00 19

Gray. But I had just enough time to make my

lovely “Gray Flamingo” casserole!

153 DAD
That’s gray... T.

154 MOM AND DAD

(LAUGH)

155 TIMMY
Jeez.. my parents might be gray blobs like
everyone else, but they’re still their goofy
selves. Which means...

Mom reaches into the oven and pulls out a PINK FLAMINGO SHAPED
CASSEROLE.

156 MOM
Oh no! PINK!

157 TIMMY
...Mom still can’t cook! (That’s why they’re still
goofy and Bender is a jerk.) I changed their
outsides, not their insides!
(beat)
Mom? Can I have your hideous, pink
casserole?

She pushes the casserole off to Timmy.

158 MOM
Sure!

Timmy clutches the casserole.

159 TIMMY
There’s no time to lose!

He antics back and... slowly oozes outside.

CUT TO:

EXT. - OUTSIDE TIMMY’S HOUSE - SAME TIME

Timmy dumps the casserole on his head.

160 TIMMY
The Fairly OddParents: “The Same Game” by Butch Hartman and Steve Marmel Recording Draft 8/11/00 20

If I change my outside, then Cosmo and Wanda

can find me! I hope...

Timmy molds the top of his blobby, gray head into the familiar shape
of his pink hat. He then dumps the pink casserole on it and presto!
He now has a pink hat that stands out like a sore thumb in his gray
colored world. He starts running around the street, waving his little,
blobby arms.

161 TIMMY
Cosmo! Wanda! It’s me! With my pink hat!
I’m different! Look! Different!

162 BENDER
Hey, who’s the freak with the pink on his
head?

162A BENDER (ALT)

There’s that crazy kid! That pink has clearly
gone to his head

163 WENDALL
Let’s get him and gray him up! Come on!

163A WENDALL (ALT)

We must help him!

A low speed chase begins.

CUT TO:

EXT. - ABOVE THE CITY - SAME TIME

Wanda flies above the city, holding Cosmo in a dust bin.

164 WANDA
I can’t find Timmy anywhere! And... uh oh! I’m
starting to feel all explody!

CUT TO:

EXT. - GRAY CITY STREET - DAY

Timmy looks up and sees Cosmo and Wanda.

165 TIMMY
Cosmo! Wanda! Hey, Guys! It’s me, Timmy!

They keep flying on.

The Fairly OddParents: “The Same Game” by Butch Hartman and Steve Marmel Recording Draft 8/11/00 21

166 TIMMY
Oh no! They can’t hear me! If only...
(beat)
Right!

Timmy breaks off a piece of the pink casserole hat, makes TWO
GIGANTIC, PINK BUCK TEETH and places them in his mouth.

167 TIMMY
(WHISTLES AS LOUD AS HE CAN)

CUT TO:

EXT. - ABOVE THE CITY - SAME TIME

Wanda flies. She is expanding.

168 WANDA
Must... keep it... together...

169 TIMMY (V.O.)

(WHISTLES)

170 COSMO
That’s Timmy’s big toothed whistle!

WANDA’S POV: We see a little pink dot being chased by a bunch of

gray dots.

171 WANDA
I see a little pink dot!

172 COSMO
That’s our little pink dot!

172A WENDALL AND BENDER

(chase walla)

ON TIMMY: Cornered by the Mob. Wanda, who is expanding by the

second, flies up to Timmy.

173 TIMMY
You found me!

174 COSMO
Well sure! You stick out like a big sore pink
thumb!

175 WANDA
Less talky! More Wishy!
The Fairly OddParents: “The Same Game” by Butch Hartman and Steve Marmel Recording Draft 8/11/00 22

176 TIMMY
I wish I was different again! I wish the whole
world was back the way it’s supposed to be!

POOF!!! A wave of color sweeps over the city, the people and the
world, changing everything and everyone back to normal.

CUT TO:

INT. - TIMMY’S ROOM - DAY

Timmy is sitting on his bed next to Cosmo, who is now back to normal.
Timmy grabs his teeth.

177 TIMMY
My teeth! My head! My hat! My gosh...

Pan over to reveal Wanda, who is now a pile of confetti.

177A TIMMY
...What happened to you?

177B WANDA
Just make another wish.

Timmy nods to Cosmo, who waves his wand as we...

DISSOLVE TO:

EXT. - TIMMY’S HOUSE - LATER

Timmy, Chester and AJ, now back to normal, sit in front of Timmy’s
house, bored to tears. Mom walks up.

178 TIMMY, CHESTER AND AJ

(Sighs of boredom)

179 MOM
What’s the matter, Timmy? Why aren’t you
and your friends hitting each other in the head
with your ball?

180 TIMMY
Aw, that creep dentist down the street won’t
give me my ball back, because he doesn’t like
my teeth.

181 MOM
Oh, Really? (Is that so?) Let’s see if we can
reason with him.
The Fairly OddParents: “The Same Game” by Butch Hartman and Steve Marmel Recording Draft 8/11/00 23

DISSOLVE TO:

EXT. - DR. BENDER’S HOUSE - DAY

Bender holds a BOOMERANG and Timmy’s ball as he shoos ANOTHER

CHILD off his lawn. Wendall stands next to him.

182 DR. BENDER

Now, go, other bad teeth boy.

183 WENDALL
And never darken our doorway again with your
horrible, bite radius.

184 DR. BENDER

Here’s your new boomerang (BALL??) Wendall.

185 WENDALL
Thanks, Pop! Ha, ha. This sure is a fun
boomerang that’s mine now. (laughs)

Mom walks up with Timmy, Chester and AJ.

186 TIMMY
(whistles)

187 WENDALL AND DR. BENDER

(surprised at whistle)
Ah!

188 TIMMY
Gimme my ball back, Wendall.

189 WENDALL
Let’s see. What’s the word I’m looking for?
(Oh yeah.) “No.”

189A WENDALL AND BENDER

(laughs)

190 MOM
You must be Dr. Bender. And that must be
Timmy’s ball. May we have it back?

191 DR. BENDER

In this order: Right, right and no, Momma
Tooth face.

Well, you may have Timmy’s ball, but you

clearly don’t know the rules of Timmyball.

192A MOM (ALT)

Well, you clearly don’t know the rules of
Timmyball

193 DR. BENDER

Oh?

Mom takes the ball. And quickly bounces it off Bender’s face several
times. (Note: Bender is O.S. during this)

194 MOM
That’s right, Timmyball
(while bouncing the ball off Bender)
You know, Timmy, perfect teeth might be nice,
but if they’re in a mouth that’s mean, they
might as well not be in the mouth at all.

195 TIMMY
Thanks, Mom! I don’t know what you just said,
but it sure makes me feel better!

The ball comes back into her hand with the dentist’s teeth attached to
it. They’re fake teeth.

ON BENDER AND MOM

196 DR. BENDER

My dentures! Give me back my perfect teeth!!

Bender tries to reach them, but Mom holds them out of his short
reach.

197 MOM
Jump ball! Come on! You want it? Work for it!

On TIMMY, CHESTER AND AJ

198 CHESTER
Those aren’t even his real teeth!

199 AJ
How could he hate everybody’s teeth when he
doesn’t have any of his own?

200 TIMMY
Bicuspid envy?

Timmy walks up to Wendall and pulls out chattering teeth.

201 TIMMY
And Dude? You left these at my house.

He drops them in Wendall’s pants. We INSTANTLY hear the sound of

the teeth chattering.

202 WENDALL
WAAAGH!!!

CUT TO:

EXT. - A DIMMSDALE STREET - SUNSET

ON CHESTER, TIMMY AND AJ

Timmy holds his ball.

203 AJ
Weird.

204 CHESTER
Yeah. You think we’ll ever live in a world where
jerks don’t judge you for being different?

204A TIMMY
I wish dude. I wish...

MOM pops into frame, grabbing the ball. The kids jump.

205 MOM
HEY!!! Who wants to play Timmy Ball?

206 TIMMY, CHESTER AND AJ

Uh... well I… oof!

As the sun sets behind them, Mom’s silhouette begins bouncing the
ball off Timmy, Chester and AJ’s heads.

207 TIMMY, CHESTER AND AJ

Hey! Cut it out! I’m hairless!! No Fair!

208 AJ
You think we’ll ever live in a world where your
Mom doesn’t hit us in the head with your ball?

209 TIMMY
Nope.

210 MOM
Come on, you guys! Where’s your game face?
Bring it on, Meat! Come on!
The Fairly OddParents: “The Same Game” by Butch Hartman and Steve Marmel Recording Draft 8/11/00 26

Cosmo and Wanda float into frame and watch Timmy and his Mom
walk away.

211 WANDA
Is there a message there?

212 COSMO
I think it’s this: If you’re playing Timmy Ball,
wear a helmet.

213 WANDA
What about Cosmo Ball?

214 COSMO
I don’t have a ball.

Wanda pulls out a CINDER BLOCK.

215 WANDA
I have a cinder block!!

COSMO
AAAGH!

216 WANDA
Come on! Bring it on, Meat! I got your game
right here! Is that all you got! Come on!

Wanda chases Cosmo into the sunset as we...

FADE OUT.
