Each year we run these development/informational sessions leading into our trials and they are OPEN to players of ALL abilities.     Who is this for?: ALL boys and girls aged 8-12 are welcome from beginners to advanced. When is it?: July 28, August 4, August 11 on Saturdays. 11.30 AM to 1 PM. We only run them once a year so get in now! Where is it?: STARplex, Alexander Ave, Evanston What does it cost?: $35 covers all 3 development sessions What you get?: . Inspiration to take your basketball to the next level from coaches with lots of Australian, USA and European basketball experience . Learn about elite basketball pathways in Australia that allow some of our basketballers to play all over Australia and overseas . Invitation to Central Districts Lions try outs, if you are keen . Meet other hoopsters from the Northern region of South Australia . 3 weeks of skills, fitness and fundamentals in a fun, enjoyable learning environment

    Andrew Jantke - Currently Junior Coaching Director with Central Districts Lions - Over 25 years of District basketball playing and coaching at div 1 level - 6 years as Assistant Coach with SA State Junior teams - Significant experience developing junior players that have gone onto make ABL and Australian sides Sean Carlin - Currently coaching U10 Div 1 Boys at Central Districts Lions - Former Olympic and Commonwealth Games athlete - Physical Education teacher - Son, Daniel, played represented SA at 5 National Championships, Australia at World Championships and is a current US College Scholarship Holder Kyle Miller - Currently in the top 5 scorers of Central Australian Basketball League with the Central Districts Lions - Former US College Basketball star with Shawnee State University and Notre Dame College Jordan Centenerra - Current ABL player with Central Districts Lions - Former SASI Scholarship holder - Div 1 Junior with Central Districts Lions and Sturt Sabres - 2011/12 starting guard with the Artland Dragons in the German NBBL Plus special guest coaches.....
