Go East or West -- you choose. This year there will be two GOP Victory Centers conveniently located for you! You can volunteer for both or for the one that fits your needs best. Whichever you choose, We Need You! This will prove to be the most important election of our lifetime. There are major issues facing the country, including: Health Care, the Economy, Medicaid, Medicare, Social Security, Immigration Reform, Housing Foreclosures, Taxes, Energy Policy, and Terrorism. Getting involved and volunteering your time are among the most important activities you can engage in this year. The Boca Raton GOP Victory Centers will serve the East Boca and the West Boca areas. Their functions will be to organize get-out-the-vote activities and to offer a place for people to get information on all of our Republican candidates -Federal, State, County and Local. Volunteers will run the offices and will help people learn how they can help and where they can go to vote. Both GOP Victory Centers will have a reception area, a phone bank area, a space for candidate signs, a work area to put candidate packets together, a "walk" station, and space for candidates to display their materials. The East GOP Victory Center will be located in the Fifth Avenue Shops in East Boca on Federal Highway:
a tax. It wasnt a tax when it was in Congress. It wasnt a tax when it passed. Its not a tax today. It was only a tax for one day, the day the Obama Administration went in front of the Supreme Court and said: Its a tax. The sadness is not that Justice Roberts bought it. The sadness is that Justice Roberts found the massive deception to be Constitutionally acceptable. Fast and Furious is Watergate with a body count. Not a single Democrat wants to know what happened. Not a single Democrat wants to find the truth and punish the guilty, if there are any. Not a single Democrat wants Brian Terrys parents to know the truth about their sons unnecessary death. After all, there is an Attorney General to protect. Brian Terry? Collateral damage in the non-stop war against America being waged by the Progressive holies, and now entering its onehundredth year. November 7th is all about Lies versus the Truth. Only one can win.

somehow, this group is going to get it right? That if the desired totalitarianism is achieved, will they only eliminate or kill those who deserve killing or may you wind up on the hit list as well? I cannot simply turn off this thought process or passion once someone opens that door. I can avoid initiating it, but there is only so much I can do when someone else chooses the discussion. "The only thing necessary for evil to prevail, is for good men to do nothing." Don't think it can't happen here. It's ALL already in place.
Passion
By Raymond Tresca The following is an e-mail I sent to a friend after a political argument ensued at of all places, the Hard Rock Casino. A friend of this friend was there that I had met briefly on an earlier occasion. This person somehow knew my political persuasion and began to tell me how great the economy was getting. Look around, she said referring to the burgeoning crowd at the casino, things are going great. This is your microcosm of the economy as a whole, I said? Not the vacant stores, unemployment, GDP, or the skyrocketing numbers of people on public assistance? Her response? Surprise, surprise, George Bush, George Bush, George Bush! So, head to head we went for the next 10-15 minutes. While I am no stranger to uncomfortable or confrontational situations, the mutual friend who introduced us was noticeably upset. I sent this e-mail and first apologized that they became upset and then explained myself and like minded people as follows: This is not a Yankees vs. Mets thing for me. It's not a Jets vs. Giants either. It is passionate gratitude that I have. The awareness that of the 2 to 3 billion people who shared the planet with me when I was born, I landed in a place that had less than twenty percent of the worlds population. A place that came further, faster than any civilization before it. There are specific reasons for this. This was not luck, nor was it accidental. Could you, for a moment imagine being born a Jew in Hitlers Germany, anything but a Bolshevik in Stalins Russia, or anything but a Communist in Pol Pots Cambodia? That last sentence contains over 100 million deaths. The vast majority of the victims did little or nothing to stop what was happening. It became too late to stop the killing. In all of the aforementioned, a villain or villains were named, isolated and eliminated. So now, the one percent, whose numbers are actually far greater, are being isolated and vilified. The wealthy, the Tea Party, and Republicans in general are being singled out as the main reason that others do not have everything that they want in their hedonistic quest. We are constantly hammered for being something we are not, nor have we ever been. Please don't cite the very few exceptions to this to attempt to bolster a feeble argument. Don't seek one issue of disagreement to condemn the entire premise. We simply believe in Constitutional, but limited Government. We believe that hundreds of thousands of deaths that have brought us to where we are should not EVER be taken for granted. We believe that our strides and sacrifice should not be squandered by anyone or group. We believe that policies that have failed EVERY time that they have ever been attempted throughout history will NEVER work no matter WHO packages them or how "humanitarian" they sound. We recognize the deadly effects these policies have had in history. Is anyone so naive to think that

Republican Party of Palm Beach County Ellyn Bogdanoff Highlights June Lunch at the Republican Club of the Palm Beaches
Page 7 County Commission Candidates Debate at the Republican Club of the Northern Palm Beaches Meeting
The Republican Club of the Northern Palm Beaches co-sponsored the Palm Beach County Commission District 1 Candidates Forum on June 18, 2012. The other co-sponsors were the Jupiter/Tequesta Republican Organization, Palm Beach County Taxpayer Action Board, Palm Beach County Tea Party, Palm Beach Republican Club, Republican Club of the Palm Beaches, Singer Island Civic Association, and South Florida 912. Over 150 voters and several children turned out as well as a dozen local officials. There are three candidates in the Republican Primary: Dan Amero, Owner of Jupiter Fitness Center and former Jupiter Councilman and vice-Mayor; Harry Gaboian, County Airport Operations Officer; and Hal Valeche, Financial Consultant, former PBG Councilman and Congressional Candidate. The Republican Primary takes place on Tuesday, August 14. The winner will then go on to face the Democrat challenger in the November general election.
The June meeting at Bear Lakes featured Senator Ellyn Bogdanoff. Ellyn currently represents the Palm Beach and Broward coastal District 25, which has been busted up in the new redistricting scheme. The new district 34 contains a shorter piece of coastline and some heavily Democrat inland areas (including Kings Point), and the Republican nominee will face another sitting Senator, Maria Sachs. Senate redistricting went through several iterations, and ultimately the Florida Supreme Court forced the change that turned a reasonably safe Republican district to a D+9 uphill challenge. One of the Supreme Court Justices that is on the ballot for retention this year, Barbara Pariente, a proponent of the changes, ended up at a table with Ellyn at an event earlier in the year and the Senator had some amusing remarks about how that went. Ellyn talked about the race and the advantages she brings over Maria Sachs, in spite of the deficit in party registration. If you remember the effective 2010 campaign she ran against Carl Domino in the primary and Kelly Skidmore in the general both with a margin of 16% or more, she will be a formidable competitor. The Senator then gave a short legislative update, and took a few questions. One controversial bill with which she was closely associated involved the expansion of casino gambling in the state. The bill, called the largest expansion of gambling in Florida History by much of the media, was ultimately withdrawn. Ellyn cast it in a different light, explaining that it was about tourism and an expansion of the convention business in the state, by building a set of resorts in which gambling was only one factor. The Orlando area (the guy with the glove and three fingers) was not too keen on the idea of building a convention magnet in the Miami area that would compete with them, and that was the backdrop against which it was decided. Given the new Senate President is not a supporter, she did not think the bill would come up again in the next session. Also at the meeting were candidates Tami Donnally (H86), Fran Hancock (State Committeewoman) and Cindy Tindell (State Committeewoman), and a surrogate for Pat Rooney (H85).
L-R: Moderator and local celebrity Tom Boyhan, owner of WJTW FM100.3, Pres. Cindy Tindell, and County Commission Candidate Hal Valeche
Each of the candidates gave an opening statement, and then questions were posed by our moderator, local celebrity Tom Boyhan, owner of WJTW FM100.3 radio station. There were two questions that related to the costs and benefits of Palm Tran Transit Service. Dan suggested that the system be privatized. He pointed out the example of pedicabs in Delray that make money by selling advertising space. Hal pointed out that privatization would be good, but if the system is still not profitable without fares increased beyond which people would be willing to pay, no private firm would buy it without an unsustainable subsidy. Harry suggested that the County should do more to draw people to downtown to increase ridership. One idea he mentioned would be to build / improve museums or other

"The United States Supreme Court has ruled to uphold the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act by extending the power of the United States Congress to tax Americans' behavior. This is a sad day for Americans, as they will be taxed to pay for benefits they may not need or want as part of the insurance they are forced to buy. With this decision, Congress has been granted infinite taxation power, and there are no longer any limits on what the federal government can tax its citizens to do. The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act will hit the middle class especially hard, as hundreds of thousands of jobs will be lost as businesses try to avoid the penalties and costs created by the healthcare law. The healthcare law will cost trillions of dollars, raise costs for employers and create huge incentives for them to drop health insurance. Benjamin Franklin did indeed state, 'In this world, nothing can be said to be certain, except death and taxes.' However, Dr. Franklin never envisioned the federal government would use its power of taxation to punish people for not purchasing health care. Today, individual sovereignty in America has been defeated."
Obamacare isConstitutional??
So says Chief Justice John Roberts, who sided with the left wing of the Supreme Courtdid anyone see THAT coming? Is this a case of one of our most highly respected constitutional jurists bending to political pressure? Is Justice Roberts a traitor to the strict constructionist interpretation of the Constitution? Was this an attempt to preserve the independence of the Judiciary? Or does he know something we dont, and hes just steps ahead of us all? Whatever the answer, none of us are happy and the battle will now continue at least through November, 2012.
