Dyslexia
Dyslexia is a brain-based type of learning disability that specifically impairs a persons ability to read. These individuals typically read at levels significantly lower than expected despite having normal intelligence. Common characteristics among people with dyslexia are difficulty with spelling or rapid visual-verbal responding. (The National Institute of Neurological Disorders and stroke)
Symptoms of Dyslexia
Slow
or inaccurate reading. Poor spelling Auditory processing disorder. Difficulty with organization skills. Tendencies to omit or add letters or words when writing and reading.
Legal Implications

Conclusion
Dyslexia
affects different learners differently, therefore you should have 1. A one to one chat with the student 2. Refer him to the Inclusion learning Team so they can assess him and let you know the best way to help that individual student more effectively
