Product Overview

Activity Manager is a task management software which can be used by small and medium size companies as well as project groups to manage activities of individuals as well as teams. It is a multi-user client / server software which works on Local Area Network(LAN) with authorized user access (each user will have a login-id and password).

Architecture

Activity Manager comes with two applications, namely Activity Manager Administrator and Activity Manager Workstation. Activity Manager Administrator maintains the company, department, designation, user details, holidays and activity groups. Activity Manager Workstation helps the users to enter and manage activity details for self and to the other employees. Activity Manager is a multi-user application with multiple users accessing a common database simultaneously.

Allows users to assign activities to any other user with in the organization instead of restricting activity assignments with in a team. Users can assign activities to themselves thus providing the capabilities of performing personal as well as project management . Activities can be configured to be performed one-time, daily, weekly, monthly and yearly Activity status can be maintained Has provisions to attach documents On recurring activity's target date calculations excludes holidays defined in Holiday master

E-mail communications

Can be configured to send auto-emails on activity creation, updation and deletion. Mails will be send to the creator as well as to the activity performer Can also be configured to sent reminder emails on pending and forth coming activities

Reports

Provides reports on pending and forthcoming activities Provides statistical reports on performances as well as activity delays

User Management

Administrator can only create user master Users will have login-id and password Users will have access rights to view either the reports owned by them or all

Data Management

Database backups and restore options are provided
