SECTION 1 : Synopsis: The story is about a hungry tiger looking for food in a jungle. While he was walking in the jungle, suddenly, a tree fell on it. The tiger cried for help. A buffalo heard the cries and came to help him. It used its horns to remove the tree. Once the tiger was free, the tiger bit the buffalos leg. The buffalo cried out in pain. A mouse deer heard the noise and came to find out what was it about. The mouse deer wanted to help the buffalo. The mouse deer got an idea. It asked them to show how it happened. The buffalo and tiger showed what had happened. The buffalo was free and the tiger was once again trapped under the tree! The buffalo thanked the mouse deer for saving its life.

The aim of these activities is to enhance students understanding of the main characters in the story. Worksheet 7 further explores students imagination and creativity by asking them to imagine how the characters must have felt at the end of the story. Teachers should always bear in mind that students interpretation may sometimes differ from our own expectations. However, as long as students are able to tell why they chose their answers (justification), then their answers are acceptable.
