DHF is tropical infection diseases that become major public health problem in Indonesia. Now almost all district reported dengue cases even in rural districts. Bogor District is one of districts located 40 km southest Jakarta. The DHF has also become major public health problem in the district with IR was : 41/100.000 & CFR : 1,73% by the year 2010 Citeureup is one of subdistricts endemis area of DHF in the district with 141 cases and CFR 4,96% in the same year.
One of public health intervention to reduce the incidence of dengue cases was PSM. Implementation of PSM ( included activities to drain and clean of water container, cover the containner water, buried used goods (tins, bottles,tire, etc) in the ground and plus use of larvacides and biological agent: fish) which was poor implemented in community was
Specific Objectives:

To determne distribution Characteristic and KAP of housewives (education, knowledge, attitudes, occupational status, employment status, and exposure of information) . To determine relationship between some related factors (level of education, knowledge, attitudes, occupational status, history of DHF illness, visiting and counseling conducted by health community workers, the exposure of information) with housewifes practices on PSN

Cross Sectional Study Design used in the study All housewifes lived in 11 DHF endemic villages considered as the population sources of the study 239 samples had been randomly selected using Proportionate Probability to Size (PPS) to the size of the villages population

Among all housewifes in the study, 41% have poor PSM practices, 63% low of level of education, 38% have poor knowledge, 36%, have poor attitude, 73% have no occupation, 89% have never dengue cases in their families, 64% have never been inspected by Health care workers, and 46% have never got health education form health care providers. Only 2 variables were significantly related to PSM practices among households which are: (Knowledge on DHF OR:3,59 95%CI: 2.0276,358) and health education OR 3.105 95%CI: 1.770 5.446)
