Mother dairy was founded by in the year of 1974, as pure subsidiary of NNDB. In 1988, mother dairy launches its vegetable & fruit product under the branch name of Safal In 2004 they added fruits juices under product portfolio of Safal

Checking the quality of the milk Dairy starting hygienic standard are maintained. The milk in the tankers is first checked for quality and freshness and then unloaded into huge insulated stainless steel strong tanks.
Making the milk available: The control room responsible for ensuring that shops do not run out of milk. Each milk its tankers is fitted with wireless set. As soon as the in the charge at the control room learn that a particular shop is running out of milk he contact the tanker nearest to the shop

PRICE DETERMINATION The item sold under the brand name Amul their prices are determine by the federation, but production of item are made by the Mother Dairy in addition dairy industries are run on the co-operative base so prices of each product produced by the each dairy will be the same.

Price is main factor constituting marketing management, as its important is greater in comparison to others, factor. So, pricing decision have a strategic important in any enterprises. Prices are the matters of vital important to the markets duce.

IMORTANT OBSERVATION
The most important observation during the visit was the hygiene factor present there. The premises and the plant area was clean, the employees have the orders not to touch milk with bare hands and they get their machines and silos cleaned every weekend to ensure that the milk produced is safe for the customers .
Moreover, they have a specific TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) policy for everything like for distribution, energy conservation, environment etc. They have these policies as strict code of conduct as they are manufacturing milk which requires purity and hygiene and to give the best to the customers the company needs to do this
CONCLUSION
A remember able moment to have undertaken an industrial visit in MOTHER DAIRY. It is one of the leading co-operative societies in Dairy industry. The members of the management are very efficient and cooperative. It is a large-scale industry therefore it provided much information.
The management of company kindly provided us all the necessary information for preparing the Project report. We can conclude that MOTHER DAIRY is progressing very rapidly in Indian market. It was a nice experience to visit MOTHER DAIRY. The officers are very cooperative in nature. They try to work their level best.
