OBJECTIVES
What Football is What are the life lessons that can be learnt? Explanation of each lesson learnt

WHAT FOOTBALL IS 1) Football is a ball game played by 2 teams of 11 players each at the same time on the pitch. Football is played for 90 minutes consisting of two halves(45minutes each with 10-15 minutes break) 2) It's not by chance that football (soccer) is called the "king of the sports". It makes millions of hearts beat faster and it seems to become a common religion footballism. Football is not just a mere game, it can teach us lessons about life.

LIFE LESSONS THAT CAN BE LEARNT FROM FOOTBALL

Teamwork. Unites Individuals from all races. Hard work and Determination. International Education.

TEAMWORK

1) Team work is one of the most important determining factors which affects the success or failures of a team. Not all problems can be solved by yourself alone. Sometimes, you need to work with a team. 2) Everyone in your team has to be performing in perfect teamwork so that your business can be done easily. Remember that one swallow doesn't make a spring.

Football brings about togetherness. Football unites individuals from different countries . When players from different places come together, they have to work as a team. This therefore reduces racism.

1) Football is not just a mere sport that involves winning the game. Football involves a lot of processes that without them you can not perform well. 2) Hard work is one of the qualities of a good football player. In football you need to be hard working in order to be successful in this sport. 3) Determination is another process that makes a good football player.

1) International Education refers to education that transcends national borders by the exchange of people 2) Football teaches both the supporters and players more about other peoples culture. It makes people aware of other countries that are not popular.

Other things one can learn from football

Football brings about peace most times Footballers inspire you. They teach that you can be anything you want to be if you work hard. No knowledge is wasted. Humility is a virtue . Dont be a quitter. Dont underrate anybody, everybody has something to offer. Monaco & FC Porto surprised everybody when they beat G-14 clubs to reach the final of UCL in 2004
