Jeffrey Campos Was Honored For Creating Business Opportunities For Women

Jeffrey Campos, a public relations and marketing expert from Colorado, started his career as a marketing director of American Family Insurance. He conceptualized and launched a new marketing department and established outreach strategies while setting and managing operating budgets and PR procedures for government, community, media, and philanthropic relations. He represented the company as a spokesperson during various events. His achievements include establishing and maintaining important relationships and partnerships with community organizations, associations, and government officials. This increased the company's reputation as well as the market potential. Jeffrey Campos joined New York Life Insurance in 2003. As a partner, he increased the annual recruitment levels and the sales by almost 50%.

For almost six years, Jeffrey Campos was the president and CEO of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Denver. While in position, he dramatically expanded the chamber's membership and operating budget. He established a Board of Directors and stated budget processes and mission statements in a formalized way. He joined Elite Advantage Public Relations, a full service consultancy company and is presently serving the company as a managing partner. He was the chairperson of the Denver Metro Chamber Foundation.

He was a member of the Visit Denver Board of Directors, Denver Housing Authority Commissioner; Colorado Boxing Commissioner, Live Well Colorado; Metro State Presidents Advisory Committee, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society; Muscular Dystrophy Association, Phoenix Chamber; Colorado Womens Chamber, Shaka Franklin Foundation; Rocky Mountain Junior Achievement, and the Urban League of Metro Denver.

Various organizations honored Jeffrey Campos for his contribution to the community. In 2003, the National Association of Hispanic Publishers offered him Corporate Leadership award for supporting community culture, arts, and educational programs. Even the Colorado Women's Chamber of Commerce honored him with 'Chamber Champion' award. This award is given to people who excel in their professional as well as in community works. Jeffrey received honors for creating business opportunities for women.

The American Diabetes Association selected Jeffrey as Father of the Year in 2004. This title is usually given for showing commitment to fatherhood and family, career and community. In 2005, he was again honored by the National Society of Hispanic MBA's. The society gave Business Award to him for his contributions to education and professional development of the Hispanic Community.
